since we're on the topic of clothes, for those who are looking for Taeyang gear, i've done some research:
the checkered LV belt that TY wears in the PRAYER MV during the snow is the LV Initials 40 Damier AZUR Belt $385.00. i really want this one!
the "H" belt that he wears for a lot of the photshoot is the HERMES 32mm reversible belt $540.00. dang its expensive.
and the boxers he wears in PRAYER MV is John Galliano Flame Trunks $65.00

woahmg you really did do your research. GG girl, GG! How could he spend so much on a belt!? With that money I woulda bought a million shirts, jeans, shoes, etc but he does it for a belt! Sometimes it just pays to be stylish @__@

aaaaaah finally, a thread solely for YBoogie! I hope that the spamming in this thread will stop like…NOW or it’ll be just like the Big Bang thread.

ANYWAYS, the much awaited, most anticipated mini-album since last year has finally come! All this hype and hoopla over Yum Bae is mosdef the opposite of a SOLar eclipse, because he outshined the moon and he’s definitely shining more and hotter than everrrr!

I attempted to post here since the day his mini-album/MVs came out, but I was just stuck on 'em like super glue (and I still am)! I have his mini-album on repeat for daaaaaaaaays, yo!

HOT – Just like any r&b album, “Hot” needed an upbeat track to get you started. What makes this track ultra special is the fact that it’s a gift from GD and that’s just love right there. I bet YB was moved, ‘cause I would be too!

Prayer – I’m not too thrilled with the song because of its likeness to T-Pain (the voicebox thing going on), but YB pulled it off! The MV is ultrasupermega hot! I bow down to Shaun Evaristo’s choreography for this MV and whoever the director for this MV is gets mad respect from me!!! It’s genius to put two elements together – water and fire (YB) + his crooning muscles and killer dance moves. Oh, did I mention that he was also in my favorite outfit on him bka wifebeater + jeans + sneakers (or having him shirtless is fine too LOL)? The MV is a bit reminiscent of Omarion’s “Icebox” + the lighting as well, which also took me back in the day when I used to call him ‘Komarion’ (Korean Omarion) LOL The chest pops were just… My eyes did a back flip when I saw that he no longer has a 6-pack, but he has 8!!! I was telling a few of the I-VIPs that he didn’t fully rip off his wifebeater during his previous “Ma Girl” performances in their shows because he’s waiting for his debut to show the world that he’s mosdef YG’s newest sex symbol! Or maybe let us have Daesung fantasies (Always MV) Oh and another genius thing about the MV is putting Teddy oppa in it and not just his audio! There are certain angles/times when I see Teddy oppa in YB’s pictures, so this MV is like double the pleasure, double the fun

Look At Only Me – THIS MV IS THE CUTEST, EVER!!! Again, Shaun Evaristo gets kudos points for choreographing this MV and even he said so himself on his MySpace page that this MV is his favorite one (and he’s most excited about) that he’s done so far and that YB is super talented + he can’t wait to work with him again in the future (AAAAAAAAAH MORE COLLABOS?!) I <333 the storyline/concept and that YBAEby daddy gets to show off his dance moves a lot more!!! The beginning made me laugh a little, ‘cause it made me think of “Lie” (but I didn’t bust out with the chant). Notice how he’s drinking tea/coffee while there’s beer on the table? It’s a reminder for us YB enthusiasts that he’s still a good boy =P Geez, I swear he can look so bomb even in just a white shirt! The cameos of the rest of BB made the MV even better! GD's hair is ftw here and I want him to keep it for a while. Hotnae’s putting-my-arm-around-the-girl is just sooo cute! Vitamin D’s laugh will always be cute and bringing her to the salon = wow! Having TOP on that formal party scene was perfect! What he was wearing in that formal party scene suited him perfectly. That bowtie had me teleporting to the pervieNUNa gutter and thinking “that bowtie makes him look like a present waiting to be opened” LOL But dang, that girl in the MV is my new shero! She was able to date with all of the Big Bang members~! I need to learn her ways

Sinners – The beginning of this song is very sensual; almost like a baby making song. I think this beat is trying to lure you to commit a crime with him

Baby I’m Sorry – This is my favorite track out of all of ‘em despite the sadness of it. I don’t understand the words, yet it brought me to tears the first time I heard this track. I get the gist because of the English words, but the vibe you get from it is just powerful! I literally squealed when I heard the excerpt from “A Fool’s Tears”! I <3 it when he raps, because his versatility shows.

Make Love – This is my 2nd favorite and Gummy’s bg vocals are ILLmaculate! I’d melt into a puddle if YB would serenade me with this song, for real. Kush’s rap is always on point and that part when he said “honeybrown with the long black hair / so beautiful and so damn rare” was from Nujabes & Cise Starr’s “Lady Brown”. I ain’t mad at him though, because it fit the song perfectly<3

The mini-album is dope as hell! I’m happy with the outcome of the collaborations and the album’s totality. I’ve reached a whole new level of respect for him as an artist. His vocal range has evolved throughout the years he’s been in YG and it continues to do so, as well as his dancing abilities. Oh and also, being a part of the production of his own mini-album = 2 thumbs up! The only things I’m mad about are 1.) “Hot” isn’t a full album. 2.) His rapping skills weren’t showcased enough and 3.) I want another slow song besides “Baby I’m Sorry”. Another thing, he may not have experienced the things he sings about (relationships, etc.) yet, but he's got so much soul that he can deliver the songs he sing! You can feel the passion and see the conviction in his performances. *bows*

I honestly don’t care if people keep comparing his moves to Omarion’s because people always do that anyway. In fact, I'm flattered for YB, because Omarion is a good singer/performer. If they see a non-American’s performance/MV taking off his shirt or poppin’ & lockin’, they’ll say that it’s sooo Usher or Chris Brown. People need to remind themselves that Omarion is Omarion, DONG YOUNG BAE/TAE YANG IS DONG YOUNG BAE/TAE YANG.

Sorry for the long post. I can’t help it! “My Boy” is beyond outer space amazing and hot and I’m sure that y’all agree with me! I’m so proud of him topping the hourly and weekly charts at the same time! I wish him more success and I hope to watch him perform at MusiCore, Inkigayo or Music Bank soon!
