This happened last year.

My ex and i just broke up a few weeks before I think, I decided to smoke while waiting for the bus. Then there's this guy, who keeps on looking at me, asked me for a cig and I gave one to him.

He said "You look too pretty to smoke." After that, I stopped smoking. blush.gif

Whenever I have the urge to smoke again, I always remember him. SO nice of him!

My friends and I were at Staten Island mall and were taking pictures at a photo booth. After taking the pictures we realized that someone left there pictures there and figured it must've take awhile to print, so we decided to walk around first. When we went back both pictures were gone and we were pretty much disappointed, thinking the cleaning lady or someone threw out the pictures.
Anyways after eating, a little girl was walking towards me and I thought she was handing me an ad.. lol, but I realized it was our picture. The little girl's family knew they would bump into us or something so they decided to take it and look around to see if they would find 3 asian girls. lol smile.gif I didn't even know there are people this nice .. they gave me this little special, happy feeling. blush.gif ..yeahh

it was my birthday once, and a stranger who just got on the train asked whose birthday it was ? and i said mines, and he said happy birthday to me. ^^;;

another time, i was at disneyworld and we were watchin the chinese acrobat performance at epcot, we were thre for 2 performances and i was sitting on a bench near the wall and put my mickey gloves underneath. then we left, and i realized (after on the other side of epcot china) i left my stuff back there and i freaked out and ran the whole way back and into the theater looking for my stuff. totally out of breath and sad because it wasnt there no more. and this little boy who was with his family came up to me and asked if i was looking for something, and i said yes, and he said mickey mouse gloves ? and i said yes, and he said i saw the acrobats taking something to the back. and i went to knock on their door and they had it.

when i was in korea for summer school my friends and i tried to go to KBS MUSIC BANK, but KBS has a lot of buildings and we would ask the security guards which building music bank was filmed in... and they wouldn't help us. luckily a lady that worked at KBS as a makeup artist or something told us "they're not helpful... get in my car and i'll take you there"

she drove us all the way to the right building which was not close at all...

He's not really a stranger, but I have never met him, never talked to him on the phone, and have only messaged him a few times on myspace. He knows my sister, and got my info from her. Despite all that, he's a total stranger to me. On my 20th birthday, he sent me a bear he built and named him Dr. Dimples. He told me that if my heart ever gets "Damaged," the good doctor can fix it.

Another time was when I was browsing downtown by myself and this fella in black sunglasses came up to me asking for directions. I gave him the directions, but he just stared at me, and I thought he didn't understand me. Out of nowhere he says, "Don't settle for second best," and walked off. For the longest time I thought he was some sort of guru or something who saw right through me and the emotions running through my mind at that time. Best advice from a stranger.

when I was young, like 1st grade I use to walk to the school bus station alone everyday and these two huge dogs randomly started to follow me around. (I had really bad dog phobia back then) But this really nice looking white man walked to the bus station until the dogs went away. He was so nice biggrin.gif

I don't think i'll ever forget it ^^

I wish i said thank you~

When my sister and I went to Japan, a middle-age Japanese lady and a grandpa helped us find our hotel. They were very kind! It was the lady's first time to that area yet, she still tried to help us and asked the people around. Then the grandpa heard us asking around, he said it was close by. So, he lead us all the way to the front door of the hotel, how kind is that? I don't see things like that in this country for sure.

I was throwing up in a public bathroom after hours of heavy drinking, and a stranger from the next stall asked me if I was alright and asked if I needed water. She then went out to get me a cup of water. smile.gif

Whoever that stranger was that found my bus pass, I am thankful biggrin.gif He or she was nice enough to return it to the lost and found in my school since I dropped it on the sidewalk.
Another time was when the token machine ate my money and a man gave me his tokens for free, that was really nice too.

Several years ago, I was traveling all over the Europe. I was in Marcille, France and caught a train to get to Berlin. One of the stops was in Holland and by the time we made a stop in Holland, it was late in the evening. I asked the train conductor about the duration of stop and he said I had about 30 minutes. I got off the train and walked around little bit and got some food, it couldn't have been more than 20 minutes. When I went to where my train was, it wasn't there, it was gone and there went all my bags.

I had no idea what I going to do. The first thing I did was find train station employees and told them of my situation and that my bag was in the train and as I was talking to employees, a young couple who was nearby me asked me what happened and I told them about missing train and my luggage in the train. They told employees to make sure my bags are unloaded at next stop so I could get it when I get there on next available train. An employee said there isn't any train going in that direction until next morning. The couple, to my surprise, suggested that I spend the night at their house and will drive me back to train station in the morning. I wasn't sure whether to accept it or not, they seemed very nice but seems to me, perhaps too nice, but it was getting late in a foreign country so I accepted their offer.

They were very nice. The feed me, we talked for while, mostly asking questions where I've been and where I'm going and me asking them about Holland. And as Promised they did take me to the train station next morning. I profusely thank them and caught my train to next to and got my luggage.

I will never forget them for their kindness toward a total stranger.

I walk with my friend to school and we have to cross a park where people usually walk their dogs, there was a lady(who recognises me from the other day) walking her dog by and when she was near me, she told her dog to sit and she put the lead on the dog because she knew i was scared of dogs =D

I was in kindergarden and I got off at the wrong stop on the bus [bus driver didn't even really care either]. I was in the middle of fthese apartments and had no clue where to go. I started running after the bus, but it just drove off too fast. I was like crying SO HARD and just walking around.. but this nice lady came up to me and took me back to my school.

I thought that was really sweet.

i remember i got shoved by someone during my way home in the train station, and i kinda got scraped by the knee really hard; and that day i was too exhausted because of not sleeping at all and doing massive running during gym...
my knee stung like crazy- it hurt so much i thought i was going to scream or cry
then a teenager helped me up and asked me if i was alright
then he just helped me limp my way home. XD

school just ended for the day and i was all the way at the end of the hallway , and i see this guy just standing in front of the exit so im thinking that he's going to do something bad or whatever since he was looking at me , but when i got to the end of the hallway he held the door open for me and after i went through he follwed after me and we both went our seperate ways.

that was heck nice in my standards, kinda made me feel guilty that i though he was going to do something bad.

Also once i almost tripped during the sudden stops of the train and this guy kinda grabbed onto my arm so i wouldnt fall. Considering im not light either , thats nice in my standards

Aww, this thread... it just brings a smile to my face lol
Isn't it great to know there's still kind people out there? <3

Well, one time when I was about eight, I was at this home-owned furniture store around my area and this old man came up to me and gave me some money for a gumball machine that was in the store. He was so kind, you could tell he was a real sweetheart~ He kept talking to me and for a moment I even felt like he was treating me like one of his own grandchildren ^^ After we left the store my mom told me he was the owner of the store. Gahh, can't believe I still remember that blush.gif
ilu so so...
everything needs love

several of them

I was rushing for the train, and the conductor started to close the doors. I didn't trust myself to make it so i stood and watched the doors close. But some nice gentlemen in suits held the door open and said, "What are you waiting for?" I smiled, thanked them, and jumped in and got to school.

I was playing on my friend's cellphone and passed my stop on the subway. So when we finally realized it, some guy came up to us and gave us the directions to go back, since the next couple of stops you had to exit the station and cross streets to go the other way. and we didn't have enough rides on our subway passes. Probably my face is very readable, since a lotta people help me out without me needing to ask much.

I was going home with a friend on the B train, which there are little to no vertical bars in the middle, and the top horizontal bar was to high. But there were no seats. So i tip-toed just to have my fingertips touch the top bar. The tall guy right below me cracked up (along with my friend) but he gave me his seat. and he was able to easily hang on to the bar.

I dropped a ten dollar bill on the street when I came out of Duane Reade and these people called after me. And even picked it up for me when i went back. So lucky~~

The train was a bit packed. and these old ladies had their bags next to them. I guess since i'm short for my size, they liked me more than other people on the train. and they put tugged my sleeve to get my attention and gave me the space that their bags took up. and put their bags on the floor. And they gave me a big lecture on how i should work hard with my studies and be a good girl. i found it sort of sweet and kind.
