Hellooo
I just found out that your not supposed to shave your arms... Sooo.... its kinda too late for me. sweatingbullets.gif Anywho, I don't know what to do with arm hair.
Should I just keep on shaving it?
Or should I try something else?
Cause... I don't really like my arm hair, cause since I shaved it, its really prickly now
And... waxing seems realllyyyyy painful ><

So. I was just wondering what I should do. Or if there are any alternatives of getting arm hair off. Hopefully without waxing, or at least a less painful way

Thank you!

wax.

no pain no gain right?

I'm sure it's not too bad, it's on the arms.

Uh, you could use nair. It doesn't hurt and it does a pretty good job happy.gif But it smells a bit weird but I think its better than waxing 0_0

Maybe you could try threading? But I heard that's kinda painful too...
What about trying those asian sponge hair removers? I saw a lot of sellers selling those around here, and I'm going to buy one soon to test it out.
If none of the above works, I'm pretty sure you can just keep shaving your arms. What's done is done, so I don't think it'll be all that bad. A lot of people shave their arm anyways. sweatingbullets.gif

EDIT:
I totally forgot about depilatories! You can use Nair or Veet to "dissolve" the hair. I used Nair for my legs and it's so smooth! The downside is that it smells funky, and it sometimes burns when you use it, especially for sensitive skin. So do an allergy test first!

waxing really doesnt hurt that bad tongue.gif
not on your arms that is, since it's not as sensitive as other parts

i dont shave my arms though... or wax them either
but i recommend waxing from what my friends tell me biggrin.gif

Waxing is supposed to make the hair thinner after awhile so maybe you should try that..it might also make it a bit longer o_O; not sure. fyi if you wax your arm, it hurts more on the upper part, but below your elbow, 'cause there's more skin there than your wrist, which is more bony.

Nair will probably make your arm itchy as hell and cause bumps when you scratch..I'm assuming because that's what happens when you use Nair on your leg (or any brand that removes/burns off hair) because the chemicals enter the pores.

Really? Well...I understand your pain with arm hair...they're so dumb T_T
But yeah...I used to shave them, nair them, then got lazy and just waxed some and plucked some and now they're really thin and barely visible!
Maybe that will help! Wax some, pluck some. After a while, you get used to it so it doesn't hurt. Well...at least for me.
I remember reading somewhere that if you rub your arm hair with pumice stone, it helps make it thinner. I don't know if it's true, but it wouldn't hurt to try..right? laugh.gif

i just shave it off. i have used hair removers (cremes) but i think its a waste of product, and sometimes its painful.
i am really considering getting no no from sephora but its kind of expensive.

I heard bleaching arm hair will help make it not look so noticeable.
Because a lot of my friends with brown or blonde hair have a lot of arm hair, but it's blonde, so it's not noticeable at all.

I hate under arm hair. Period. T.T

I heard using chemicals is bad for your underarm because the skin is more sensitive there?

Oh, and you can't wax your own under arms. I don't have time to go get it waxed ot have someone do it for me so I just shave but it's irritating and doesn't work very well. T.T

go get your arms waxed, trust me i did it once, and now my aunts aren't waxing it for me cause they keep forgetting ><"
ANYWAYS...i thought it would be quite painful, but in the end when they started waxing it, it felt lig a tug, so it really didn't hurt all that much happy.gif so try and get them waxed sometime =)

All these tips will help alot
thanks
although, one last question...
uhhh. So I think i have sensitive skin... Because i used to have a rash on my arm and stuff. So, I was thinking about Nair, but i'm not quite sure if it'll bring back my rash I guess you could say.
As Mars* said. I realllyyyy don't want my arms to be all bumpy and gross again.
So.. yeah.
Soooo. Waxing is the suggested way eh?
><
It just really seems to hurt lol. Well, i'll try
haha, thanks
Any other tips would help
Oh. whats threading???

Well once in a blue moon I'll have to take off something on my arms and I just shave it off. It's so embarrassing but only I know about it. So I would just stick with that if it's working for you. The least painful is what I look for. None of this waxing ouchy stuff.

Don't use Nair. The chemicals that burn are bad for your skin and like said up there, it becomes very itchy and bumpy. Either bleach the hairs or wax them off. Waxing hurts a lot less than you'll ever think. It doesn't feel the same way as when you try to pull a hair out.
Look behind you.
