Exactly... why would you want to dumb it down? (o.o)
I kinda think its pointless.

just to let you know--if your prof thinks that your level of english is too high they can force you to move up to a higher level

I don't see why you would want to :T
You'll just end up bored in your class and your teacher will notice that you're either not doing any of the work or at too high a level to be there.

^ true.. but easy A's are nice too!
[edit] Those stupid college staff people wouldn't let me take the high math exams,
and i totally passed whichever one they gave me with like a 96 average.. and they
placed me in Precal freshman year in College.. I already too AP CALC in HS.. So
i pulled A's in Pre calc, Calc, and BUsiness Stats.
Well, it boosted up my GPA..

why would i dumb myself down? so i get a higher gpa. LOL xD a lot of the smart people have done it in the past, and they were WAYY beyond the charts. on the other hand, i want to learn new stuff too, yet i want a high gpa. what's more important, high gpa or learning something?

No offense, but if you're paying, or even if you got a scholarship, why in the world would you want to be in a class with people who are not on the same intelligence level as you are. I have a a class like that, and im always getting in trouble becuase i finish all the work before everyone else. The teachers also go slower, and the material is never in par with the advanced class.

i heard, just don't study, but don't dumb down.
like, have your placement test at the same level of how you would perform naturally.
if you dumb down you'll be in a class too slow for you.
and if you study you'll be in a class too high for you.
