Have you ever read a book that was so good you didn't put it down?
(THIS CAN ALSO INCLUDE FANFICS)

If so, what book? And how long did it take you to finish it?

Book would be "Holes" waaaaaay back when I was in elementary school. Finished it is 2-3 days. sweatingbullets.gif
I read it like 7 times.

Another book would be "White Fox Chronicles." Although it was quite long, I finished it in 2 days. I read this book 3 times, also back in elementary school.

A fanfic would would "Keys Before My Eyes" by Thao. Took me a whole week, because I only read a little each day, but god damn it was good!!

I haven't read that yet, but another male friend of mine recommended it too.
(Not that I'm saying guys can't read/enjoy fanfics)

I thought the fanfic Conversations Between Us was one of those I-can't-stop-reading-until-I-finish kind of stories.
But I haven't read Keys Before My Eyes as of yet.

Conversations Between Us is a very well thought out story. Every character had a role in betrayal in the gangster life.

CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN US!
Since it is a fanfic and it is online you can't really say put down.
More along the lines of didn't do any homework and even logged on at school to continue reading.
I'm an obsessed April Loves Black Coffee freak. Always re-reading it to get a daily dose.

It was a Harry Potter book (Order of the Phoenix? I barely remember the story anymore) and I was in high school. I didn't sleep until 4 AM practically skimming through it because I just wanted to know what happened next (I've never read so fast in my life, I swear). Now I can't even start on the last one. :x Other books include:

Holes
The Book Thief - it is just so john teshing beautiful, I tell you
The Lovely Bones - I thought this was actually really good
The Kite Runner
One Hundred Years of Solitude when I first read it.
Memories of My Melancholy Whores - I was waiting for my dad in a bookstore and I wanted to finish this one before he arrived (it's pretty thin, actually)

The Truth About Forever and This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen.
Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer
Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. I read it last summer and that book was pretty shocking and sad the same time. All HP fans would know what I'm talking about.
