Recently, because the weather in NORCAL, i've been having a lot of nose bleeds. its bleeding as i type this. also i have noticed, the color of my blood isn't "red". the color of it is like . . . bright orangish & kind of close to the normal reddish color but the bright orange does seem to over power it. is something wrong with me? also, my nose bleeds usually have LONGGGGGG BLOOOD CLOTS. the blood clots been like that since i was a kid. the orangish blood is new.

any info please &thank youuu.

Every other normal person would say "forget him," because logically it is safest for you (your health and your heart). What normal people don't understand is love is not logical. It's stupid; in the sense that you destroy yourself for the other person. They don't understand that if you love someone you have to do everything for them even if in the end it doesn't make sense. -Bubbleberry

I'm a nosebleed expert. laugh.gif
Inherited from my mom.

For me, when I bleed orange blood, it's usually clear snot + blood strands.
I think it means the nose is too dry.

Is yours sticky or watery?
If it's like dripping, it might be that you're having a running nose and those were dried blood in your nose, probably because of the dry weather?

But if it's gushing out you should stop it by pinching your nose bridge, and ice your forehead + nose area immediately.
I didn't have orange blood gush out before(only red), so I don't know what might be the cause.
If you're worried, you should always consult a doctor.

And also, [touch wood] nose bleeds might be a symptom of some illnesses so we should really look out.

I usually get mine when the weather is too hot, nose too dry or when my body is too 'heaty' (think; hot flashes but not exactly) or when i'm browsing suju's thread (lols, no ^-^)

Take care!

I get them all the time. I got them a lot in school that my PE teacher nicknamed me the BNG - bloody-nosed girl. It didn't help that I had him two years in a row so the name stuck with me throughout middle school. I missed out on a lot of things because I'd be stuck with a bloody nose that wouldn't stop for hours. Depressing stuff.

Usually it's because membranes in your nose are too thin, so when it gets dry it becomes more prone to breaking. My doctors usually tell me to dab a little vaseline in my nose to moisturize them.

As for the color of it...I'm really not sure. All of my nosebleeds were nice red shades. If you're really worried, and if it keeps up, I think you should go to the doctor and get it checked out. I actually missed one of my college finals because of a bloody nose that wouldn't clot....so I immediately went to the doctor to have her look at it because I was getting freaked out myself. She sent me for all these tests and said there was nothing wrong. *shrugs*
