Bananas & Apples lots of calories x[

I just found out that just one banana is over 100 calories and i've been eating 2 bananas a day.
Also, apples are like 80 calories. I didnt know they would be so much calories.
I thought fruits didn't have much cal. x[

are u kidding me? aren't apples negative calories like celery? it takes more calories for you to eat one than the calories u get from it.

EDIT: including the calories used to digest it

80 really isn't that bad. apples are really healthy for you anyway and 120 for a banana is not bad at all since it gives you so much energy.
eating fruits rather than snacks as a sugar substitute is so much better. you shouldn't worry too much about the calories in natural foods like that.

80 is really, really not bad at all... Especially since apples are more filling than most other fruits (IMO) and they're good for energy and just great for you all together.

I hate bananas though so I won't say anything about those. XP

80 calories for an apple isn't bad. They're pretty filling for that little amount of calories and it's all healthy. So you don't need to worry at all about random fats and sugars and stuff. happy.gif

haha i knew that bananas were but apples? i mean i understand if its the red ones cause they sweet but wat about the green ones i love the green apples XD

thats not bad. If you replace an apple with chips it's a better choice. Consider chips have more calories and even if it doesn't, it doesn't give you benefit. Besides, we need calories

it's better to snack on a 80 calories apple than a 150 calories of potato chips that doesn't satisfy your craving....beside, bananas does wonder..^^

It doesn't matter the calories, that is not the way to be losing weight or else you are going to miss out on a lot of other important thigns you need. Key is balance between a doable diet and exercise. Just because you eat a certain amount of calories does not mean anything.

The calories of an apple don't come from fat. It's good calories that give you energy. :'D

I don't get why everyone thinks calories are bad. The number of calories doesn't tell you ANYTHING about what it does to your body.

anyways, 80 calories per apple isnt that bad... an apple a day keeps the doctor away remember? lol
and isnt apple considered as negative-calorie food? meaning the amount of calories it takes to digest the apple is more than the calories in the apple itself...

seriously, just keep eating your fruits. i highly doubt you'll get fat by eating 2 bananas in one day. they're HEALTHY-- complex carbs!

well personally that isn't much.. and you can burn off the calories from the fruits faster than other foods so that should even it out

fruit and veggie and other healthy calories are different for ur bod then potato chip calories.
and lots of fruit a day is good.

banana helps digestion. good. when u digest things, you also get it out of your system..ah you'll be lighter! and it's healthy...and etc.

i'm really starting to get annoyed by threads talking about how fruits have calories or what not. WTF! YOU NEED THOSE CALORIES!!!! THEY'RE GOOD FOR YOU.
