let's say you had a decision to make.

decision 1 has a 30% chance of making you real happy, but if you fail, it'll cost you the chance of being moderately happy for a little while.

decision 2 has a 80% chance of making you moderately happy, and if you fail, you can quickly find another opportunity.

which would you go for? smile.gif

Oh, no question it'll be 1 for me. I have a high tolerance for risk.
"But when it ends and while it ends, something comes, after so much rage, persistence, obstinacy, extravagance; something entirely unexpected and touching in its mildness and goodness. With the motif passed through many vicissitudes, which takes leave and so doing becomes itself entirely leave-taking, a parting wave and call, with this D G G occurs a slight change, it experiences a small melodic expansion. After an introductory C, it puts a C sharp before the D. . .and this added C Sharp is the most moving, consolatory, pathetically reconciling thing in the world. It is like having one's hair or cheek stroked, lovingly, understandingly, like a deep and silent farewell look. . . . " (Mann: 55).

I'd go with option number 2 since it has a higher chance of happening than option number 1.

3/10 - 0.9/3 is a borderline risk worth taking for me... So 1.
If 20%, maybe not unless I really have some guts feeling and confidence.

You mean number 2, there's only 30% in Number 1.

I'd probably go with Number 1, I'm still young! I have lots of time!

Haha, I'm not really sure.. unless I'm pressured... but I'm not much of a risk taker... um let's see... I guess decision 2, because I always find something else to make me happy.

I'll go with #2.
There's at least a higher chance.
#1 is too risky for me.
I'm not a risk taker.
