As gas prices continue to rise, these subcompact economy cars are becoming more and more popular. With that said, and all things considered, which would you choose as your daily commuter? And what are your opinions on some of these cars?

Toyota Yaris

Chevrolet Aveo

Hyundai Accent

Honda Fit

Nissan Versa

The Fit has a lot of room, nifty seats, and rides nice.

I've never driven a Yaris but it's a lot cuter... assuming the interior and ride quality is as good as the Fit I would choose it instead.

Definitely the Honda Fit.
My poor friend got into an accident in his.. totaled.
At least he's safe.

Lol.. he pulled something in his wrist for gripping the steering wheel too hard.

My manager has a Fit, it's red. He calls it KKakduki lol.

I rode in it a few times, great for short distances... long trips are tiring.

Ever notice there are no mirrors in the sun visors?

If I had to chose, I would get a Yaris.... just to be different. I'd deck it out with Bleach stickers too.

Correct Mugen makes Super charger for the Jazz/Fit!

I'd go with the Jazz/Fit...

Got Boost? Fully Built H22 @ 14.4 PSI!

Interesting. Almost everybody chose the Fit. But according to sales figures, I think the top three were Yaris, Aveo, and Accent. Fit is slightly more expensive than the rest of them. A fully loaded Fit can cost about as much as an Civic LX, I think. For the money, I don't think Fit is worth buying over some of its competitors.

Although reviews do say a lot of great things about the Fit. Very large and versatile cargo space. And supposedly has a great shifting transmission.
