Anybody here tried White Castle hamburgers? White Castle is the oldest burger chain in America!!!
WHy is McDonalds better known? They say White Castle burgers are tastier than McDonalds because they actually fry their onions whilst McDonalds stick in raw onions!! So why is McDOnalds more popular?

Everyone I know from the east coast said white castle is really overpriced and their food is really bad so idk. It doesn't look that bad but I guess anything would be better than Mcdonalds.

apparently there's also krystals so im hoping there willbe white castle all over the world soon so i can try it

I think because Mcdonalds is like an international chain of fast food restaurants, and there are like thousands of them in other parts of the world. So this probably made it more popular in other countries.

Yup yup, also I've never seen a White Castle here in Boston but McD's are everywhere. ._.

Probably because McDonalds is more commercialized and in practically every country lol.. or at least every continent. I've never even heard of White Castle until this thread. ^^;

Anyway, McDonald's is more popular because it's literally everywhere.

White Castle Burgers were the original burger fast food joint. Their original concepts of how they prepare and cook their burgers (so that the customers can see), their hygene practices, etc is what made them sucessful when they started. I believe they started sometime in the 1920's, whereas McDonalds in the 60s? . McDonalds was a similiar concept, started out as a drive in restaurant. They also started with a pretty basic menu, which all the foods they offered back then are still offered today. If you seen the expansion of McDonalds around the world, its amazing how fast they grow!

I can't comment on what tastes better because there is no White Castle burgers here on the west coast, and i'm not gonna try the ones they have in the freezer isle in the grocery store.

After watching Harold & Kumar, I wanted to try it but where I live they do not have white castle in my area. So I bought the frozen verison of it. I also took a trip to the east coast and tired it at the restaurant.

IT TASTE THE EXACT THING AS GOING INTO WHITE CASTLE RESTAURANT.
