Okay.. i have one quick question.. i couldn't do step 7.. i went to my control panel and changed it
but somehow it still isn't showing.. are we supposed to be in out iTunes library? or where are we
suppose to be? in another folder? i'm not too sure.. but this was a big help.. if you could get back
at me.. that would be great.. thanks a million...

Hey, I can answer your question.

You're supposed to be OUT of iTunes. From your desktop, go to your My Documents folder, or wherever your iTunes Music folder is. You should see your music files as Title.m4a (the converted ones).

Hey this doesn't work.

I've converted the file just fine and all. The file is sitting in my Ringtones folder under iTunes Library. It's not going to my iPhone when i sync it though...does this only work with unlocked iPhones?

cafe negro thanks.. i figured it out after i stared at the thing for so long.. i was like..
wait.. this isn't working.. but then i found out how to fix it.. it wasn't as hard as i thought it
was..

j00n is that iTunes your original one? i was having the same problem too.. cause i
was fixing it for my sister.. and i realized that my iTunes wasn't her original library.. so i
deleted all her stuff on it and added the ringtones... that's how it worked.. i just dragged
and dropped.. from the ringtones library to her ringtones folder in her iPhone... it was a
bit confusing at first.. but now i got it.. it sucks.. if you have to delete everything though..
