how do you think women controlled mentrual bleeding before modern pads? perhaps they used cloth pads?..

No. The truth is they used NOTHING.

Apparently they just bled into their clothes :-
http://www.mum.org/whatwore.htm

it wasnt unitl the 1900s and the discovery of germs that pads began to be used. prior to that the use of pads were thought to block and perhaps prolong bleeding...

this is pretty frightening because it means all women's clthes must have stank terribly and that when women walked around they had to take small steps just in case stuff dripped onto the floor.

fascinating trivia for the day !

Yes, but back then girls didn't start as young as they did today. Note the Crazy hormones in the food, has only boosted thee average to start.

I don't think the girls let it run down there legs. I believe with religious views and those times. She may have been locked in the closet. Most of the time when they showed signs of being a women, there father would be ready to marry her off.

Anyway tampons are very unhealthy, and they break the natural flow of a women. Why would you want to old the germs and bacteria thats suppose to leave the body? And there you are clogging it in there. XD Sorry that sounds weird. Second. Tampons weaken the Pubococcygeus muscle. So in the near future you will need Kegel training.

Anyway nothing a "Dark dress" couldn't hide.

Oh and another thing. If your thin and unhealthy. You won't even get a period or it will be shorten. A period is a good thing, and great sign of youth. You think a little cleaning up a pad and tampon can hide a person's natural instinct . =P They still know your own. The women emits more pheromones when on.

So hiding it or not. =P Everyone knows; subconsciously! Thats why if a huge group of girls hang out with each other for a while they become synced .

I kinda went off topic there. Sorries.

But I have read that women in Middle East had some cloth down there, and they would wash it after use....

ehm.... but I don't think they would just leave it like that..

yeaaaahhh i've been wondering how the women in the old days handled the time of the month.

They didn't have pads or tampons during those times.

Ughh, that it's too nasty and disturbing. They just let it..flow? Wouldn't that be a huge mess?

My mother used some blankets and wash it after wards when she was young.
