NYC: go to Dos Caminos!! Food is so mexican style, but upscale. Expect to pay around $30+ each. apparently, people go there for the chips and homemade guacamole, and sangrias (for the 21 and up!!

Also go to Red Mango, which is the original Pinkberry. They have these in CA too, and of course, in Korea!! yummy yogurt frozen treat with toppings like fresh fruit and cereals... Plus, apparently Pinkberrys yogurt is not real yogurt because it does not have enough cultures in it, which is why it doesnt taste as tart.

MARYLAND: GO TO FRACTURED PRUNE!! best best best doughnuts ever, and baked fresh to order.

Just try to taste the local foods and you'll be pleasently surprised (most of the time)!

'cause in Holland, they don't get to get vietnamese food often so they often crave for the homemade kinds.
When I travel to a whole bunch of different countries, I like to try all their foods
Cute tops, cardigans, and more!

But pretty much you can get any type of food here. So if there is a type of cuisine you don't have in your hometown and you want to try it, you can get it in NYC.

yep Icey Ice is a must eat, for those who dont know what it is, it is like flavored shaved ice, its not like one of those deserts where its shaved iced and then added with some syrup thingy, Icey Ice is different. =]
the flavor of the desert is already made into an ice cube and they just shave it and you can add in like fruit, chocolate, etc. If you ever come to Perth should try it. ^^
oh sorry i kinda didn't make it more clear when i said Wendy's. ><" yes there is a Wendy's here in Perth but its like mainly sells ice cream, where over in America Wendy's is a fast food restaurant. please correct me if im wrong cause ive never actually eaten there before.

EVERYTHING!?!??!! HAHA. Here are some (OF MANY) off the top of my head
- ANY DONUT from Mister Donut <- holy crap. best donuts IN THE WORLD. Krispy Kreme's got NOTHING on this. My favorite's Pon De Ring:

- mango shaved ice from ICE MONSTER (冰館) <- ALL of the Japanese tourists visit Ice Monster as one of the "landmarks" hahah

- stinky tofu (臭豆腐) from any night market <- make sure it's from a night market, it's the most authentic and delicious

- 牛肉麵 (beef noodle soup) with handmade noodles

- Japanese cuisine at MITSUI (三井日本料理) -OR- MASA <- both are SERIOUSLY fancy shmancy. At the cheapest, it's about $50 per person. There's no menu at either restaurant; the chef just makes different courses based on what fresh ingredients he has that day.

- spicy hot pot (麻辣火鍋) and spicy wonton (紅油炒手) from 沈記(well it doesn't have to be from there; it's the only one I remember & loved)

haha wow. sorry I totally went overboard. Taiwanese food is my PASSION. I think I should be like, the spokesperson for Taiwan tourism. OR I should write a Taiwanese food guide.
