also, if your friend is excercising excessively and still not wanting to eat, that's a sign that she has an eating disorder.
also, her if she only eats one meal a day, she'd most definitely run out of energy.
your body needs food to function, and having just one meal a day won't satisfy that need.

are you sure she's not lying when she says that shes not hungry?
idk if this helps but i was watching ANTM and there was this girl who was anorexic
she said that she didn't eat because she wanted to loose weight
but she did it to be in control of something in her life
haha, yep, thats the insight that ANTM provides me with
best of luck to you and your friend

You can go to someone for help. Sometimes you have to force it on them rather than worry about how they would feel about you if you went for help. If she doesn't start eating normally, she can get really sick. I know someone who hasn't eaten a proper meal in 2 years. She hasn't had her period at all in those 2 years and now she'll have problems having children. So yeah, get some help if she shows signs of anorexia.

Usually people tend to deny it sometimes, when they really are trying to losing weight o.o;

It's a common problem especially with asian girls, especially at my university. What's stupid is most guys and naive girls tend to believe what they say.

if your friend actually wasn't intending on losing the weight.. well she's not anorexic, but obviously she's got some other health problems (could be stress, overanxiety, etc ..)
anyway, if you think your friend's anorexic, best approach her carefully, or else she'll probably just shut herself away from you, and you won't be of any help
good luck ^^

she might be anorexic or not. if she stops losing weight now, everything might be allright?
but if she keeps on losing weight, then she certainly needs help!
