I'm looking for a cellphone and I'm hesitating between the LG KE970 Shine and the Samsung U700.
I was wondering which one is better? Which one would you choose if you were me? Please help me ^^

I'm not sure about the U700 but my friend's dad has the shine and she says that it gets scratched easily.

And it looks weak too.

I think you should go for the U700

Instead of the lg shine k3970, you should go for the newer version cu720

My friend's friend sells owns a cell phone store and he says that the majority of the customers that bought the LG Shine come back to complain that it froze or broke. I was going to get it but after looking through a bunch of reviews, it didn't look so good. It's really pretty though..

My sister has the Samsung U700. Personally, the touch part of it is really hard to use compared to Samsung's other phones. The way the files are organized in it is confusing. I just like its camera.

Go with Samsung. Better functionality. I've never liked LG because of their lack of functionality and such.

Samsung is better than LG so get the Samsung phone (: But are you sure you don't want to look at the other models available aside from these two?

I think it depends on the quality of the phone like others have pointed out that should be your decision. Next I go with the entertainment features. I have a Sony Ericsson w580i and the keys crack on mine (at least three now) but they still work fine so that's all I care about. Other wise the phone is great. Check and see if there are any review sites for the phone. That's what I did before I decided on the phone. I first checked out my providers website for choices and than googled for reviews and that helped a lot with my decision.
