I always try to be careful with my phones but I always end up breaking them somehow.
I have the Motorola Rizr right now, and the buttons fell off and it's basically ruined.
My contract ends in about a month, so I'm looking.

I'm with T-Mobile, and I was wondering what phones other people have.
I really like the T-mobile Shadow, does anyone have it?
Please give me reviews, pictures, etc. of your phone. The pros and cons.
Also how long you've been using it.

I also MIGHT even get a phone on Ebay, or something.
I'm thinking of spending anywhere from $30-$200

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks smile.gif

I have using a SE W580i
The phone's okay though I don't have much to compare it to because I always used those free T-mobile phones
If you're considering to buy a phone from eBay then your choices are limitless so as long as the phone you choose is unlocked or works with T-mobile

You should consider what you want from the phone such as camera capabilities, music, GPS, etc.
I do like the W580i for the music capabilities though (I don't have an iPod XD)
And the way you can customize the lights on the phone is pretty neat
But I don't like the camera because there's no zoom for it, there is for the video though but it's bad quality imo.

So your contract is going to end soon right?
Well. in my opinion I would say go get another contract with
another business or T-mobile again [which I recommend] and get a phone from them.
My sister has the HTC Shadow and it really neat. 2 Megapix. camera...not that great but still.
It even uses this Windows style based theme. It also has wifi which alot of phones dont have so that
is a major majorrr plus. For cons Im not too sure. My sister complains that she cant put mp3 ringtones,
but I guess thats just her in not knowing how to do it.

Other than that, you can go ahead and buy a new unlocked phone on ebay. You can definitely save alot with
that new contract with another company or T-mobile. Its up to you though.

^ I agree.. since your contract is ending, if you open a new plan under t-mobile you can get a good phone for a lot cheaper ~_^ can't go wrong with that. And if the place you open the contract from has unlocked phones, you can get those for cheaper too and avoid having to buy from ebay and waiting for the phone, paying for shipping, etc.

The phone I'm using now is SE s500i and I love it, but some of the keys cracked after I got the unlimited text plan... soooo if you're a heavy texter definitely avoid this phone XD

i have the blackberry pearl (:
i've had it for about, probably a month now ..?
what i like about it is the qwerty keypad (2 letters per button)
and the trackball (which you can change the color with!)
i like the design as well. the camera on it is alright. it can
zoom up to 5x, so i guess that's good. you can download
themes and add it to your phone. as well as music, pictures,
videos, and ringtones. some people don't like it because it's
a business phone. but i love it (:

oh, and i'm with t-mobile too. just in case you're wondering.
hmm. the cons about the blackberry? well, for now, none :D

here are some upcoming cellphones for the T-mobile.
I say wait for the Nokia 5610 is your a big fan of music.
I was suppose to get that...but changed my mind. It has a great
music player and also a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash.
I know it should have been out already, but however, go call T-mobile to
make sure

That phone is ONLY going to be released in Europe. Not in America. Assuming krnangel is in America.

Eww...BARFS
Sorry hands down Id pick the shadow then the Blackberry.
It depends which blackberry your planning to get. I find the
pearl annoying since it has this little ball in the center that can fall out.
Both have wifi, but the blackberry has more of a stable keyboard for
typing.

I had a T-Mobile Sidekick ...it just SUCKS

I have used a Blackberry Curve but there are some problems such as AIM/MSN disconnects here and there during convos but its okay.

Anyways go to a T-Mobile company store. I been to one and almost 90% of all the t-mobile phones there can be used to test/play/take call/text and only like a few (like the old razr) were dummy phones and the rest were real

If you could raise your budget to $300, then you could get some better unlocked phones since T-mobile's selection just plain out sucks in America.

I would suggest that you wait a bit right now before you go buy a phone. Supposedly T-mobile is going to release new devices this summer and Shadow II is in the mix. So, if you can, just wait it out for couple of months and see what's released.

i have the sidekick...
but if that's not for you, my bf has a nokia phone from t-mobile. i think it's called xpressmusic or something like that? it's cheap and it's pretty nice. it's camera phone with mp3 player. and it lets you put your songs as your ringtone.
