If you're only an undergraduate, then you should not worry too much about a good undergraduate medical school. Just worry about taking the necessary med-school required classes (like Biology and organic chemistry) and take a major that interests you. While in undergraduate college, you can give serious thought about what you really want to do. Then with a good GPA and good MCAT scores, apply for medical graduate school.

If for some reason you know the graduate school you want to go to, it might be beneficial to try out for that school for undergradute college. You know, legacy tongue.gif

Yeah, undergraduate doesn't matter as much if you want to go into a medical profession but just go into a school which is good for the sciences like biology, chemistry, etc. Make sure you do well undergraduate and do an internship at a hospital or something. Sorry though, I only know mainly about UCs though. I think UPenn is pretty good for medical/surgeons. I have a friend whose sister is going there to become a type of surgeon. I don't think GA Tech is good for it though, I don't know about it but most tech schools are good for engineering that kind of stuff. Emory is pretty good for medicine though. The schools which have really good medical schools are the Ivy League-type schools like Harard, Cornell, etc. and a few other well known schools like University of Washington, University of North Carolina, UCLA, UCSF, etc.
