I've dranken aloe vera juice before. It tastes so good because there is a lot of sugar in it I'm not sure if you can eat aloe vera. The juice contains small bits of aloe vera that you can just swallow.

You can make your own by blowing down a few leaves of aloe, and add like TONS of sugar. 'cause drinking it straight is gross.

Errr I don't know but my mom makes Aloe Soup all the time. Just had some tonight! It's pretty much just chicken soup with straight up aloe chunks in it. We grow it in our backyard, so yeah.
