I have more muscle sweatingbullets.gif than fat in my body so it's hard for me to achieve the "slim" looking.
I was wondering what should I do to make my body looks slender.
I do kickboxing everyday.
Doesn't that make your muslce get bigger?
Or should I switch to yoga and pilate instead? I'm very active so if i'm not on my feet during the workout, I'll get bored easily and stop.
Does diet help like say I lose about 10-20 lbs?

You are on the right track, pilate and yoga works the best. Also, ballet workout are awesome too to give you that slim slender, model look. ^^ Yoga is a bit slow moving and might not be what you're looking for since you said you have to be on your feet during the workout. So I think pilates and ballet work out are the best choices. ^^ I prefer the ballet workout though because it also gives you perfect posture along with everything else. You can find copies of the New York City Ballet's workout DVDs in music stores or grab a copy of the work out book in bookstores. ^^

And you don't need to diet (like starve yourself) *lol* Just eat healthy and cut out all the greasy food. ^^

The kickboxing might be overworking your legs so pilates or yoga along with cardio might be help balance you out.

Yup that's me.
I think it's more like my body and my arm.
My waist is small compared to my body.
It's weird.

Yoga is good, but it is kind of slow. There is other faster versions of yoga so I guess you can try different ones and see. I hear that doing resistance training with resistance bands is good for toning because you are using weight to bulk anything up. They use those in Pilates, I believe.

I would keep going with the kickboxing cuz it sounds like it's keeping you really fit and healthy. Just do some stretches or yoga afterwards for at least 15 minutes. That should prevent you from getting too bulky looking.
Also, until you get your problem areas slimmed down, I wouldn't wear clothes that are tight around your arms or wherever you feel looks really bulky looking.

hate to break it to you but it's genetics =[

i think there was a thread around here on big boned and small boned people. you might be medium or big...because in order to achieve a slender and small frame, i think you'd have to inherit it from your parents =/

on your 411...you look skinny to me o.o..lol

If you want to look thinner then stop kickboxing. Don't you always see Thai boxers with thick thighs??

It ain't genetics honey, it's your sport. Hate to say it, but give it up or continue to be thick. Sometimes tough love from a random anonymous person on the Internet can be the best advice, lol !
People often say I remind them of Lee Hyori, hot sexy Korean babe with style and attitude! ;P

you can try aerobics as there's a lot of movement involved but less focus on muscle building - and it's really fun!

Stop gaining muscle everywhere else and start doing a bunch of cardio, which is basically long periods of running. Not swimming, you'll get broad shoulders x)

Is Turbo Jam considering cardio?
I'm too lazy to go to my kickboxing class lately so I do the video at home.
Then some abs workout.
