haha i was going to make a thread about this! good thing one existed already.

THIS ANIME IS EASSSSIIILY MY FAVORITE ANIME AT THE MOMENT! and easily my fav top 25 anime of all time! the characters are great, even though i don't like Soul too much right now.

Death the kid, and Black Star has got to be the best though! he reminds me of Rock Lee + Naruto lol.

Oh cool. A Soul Eater thread. It's my favorite anime series at the moment.

Has anyone been following both the anime and manga? Are they completely different??

I read the manga only, because I don't have much downloads. But the monthly edition is a long wait, and I don't know whether the anime has more stuff? I heard that some guy called Hero complied with all of Excalibur's rules and got him as a weapon. But that's it for the new stuff =P unless I missed it in the manga...

And for anyone reading the manga - poor poor Kidd

I'm following both. The anime pretty much follows the manga in the beginning. There are a few fillers episodes, but they aren't bad.

Oh yeah! I remember that episode where Hero was actually pretty powerful with Excalibur. Pretty weird, but it was still somewhat funny.

How far is Soul Eater now? Is it close to being finished or anything like that?


Feel like I'm missing out on this show despite not having been too amazed with it.

^ The 40th episode aired not too long ago. I think it's somewhat close to being finished since there will be a total of 51 episodes. It'll probably end near the end of March - beginning of May.

It seems that Stein has gone super insane compared to the manga when he and Marie left Shibusen. He had a bit of sanity left. I don't know. Maybe all the adults will go insane in the end.

I haven't actually tried to look around and find the anime. How close does it follow the manga? I like the manga a lot so far, seems to be going pretty well.

For some reason, I'm going to wait till the episode is over since it seems to kinda drag a little.

But the manga, I must say, it is indeed really good. I'm waiting for the next chapter which won't be for a while. Hopefully the anime follows through the manga and doesn't go sideways. Unless they add a filter then I suppose its understandable.

I do love the 2nd opening theme song though "Papermoon" very nice and gentle to hear.

Oh ignore my comment on how I said that the anime is heading in a different direction. I get confused since I'm reading 6+ series at once I wonder if all the adults will lose their sanity. I'm only saying this judging from the new ending theme. It's possible?
