Sohn Ho-young to Make Comeback as Solo Artist

Sohn Ho-young, a former member of the male band GOD, will make a comeback as a
solo artist after a year-long hiatus.

Sohn will release his ambitious first solo album, entitled “Yes,” in mid-September.
The singer has devoted much time and effort to his debut solo album, which includes
songs of diverse genres, such as funk, rhythm and blues, medium tempo pop and
ballads. Sohn also expressed new vocal and breathing techniques in the album in a
break from the techniques that he had used for seven years as a member of GOD.
Those who participated in his album’s recording praised his new singing skills.

Sohn also personally wrote several of the songs, displaying his skills as a musician
that he has acquired so far.

Singer Park Seon-ju, the producer of Sohn’s album and his vocal trainer, said Sohn
was the most energetic student she has taught so far, and spoke highly of his efforts
and talent.

The preliminary recording of the album was finished August 11. The recording
company and Sohn’s agency are reportedly discussing the final details of the deal,
but Sohn wants to re-record a couple of songs to ensure the top quality of his
album.

Sohn will give solo concerts on September 30 and October 1 at the Olympic Stadium.

Currently, the singer is visiting Hong Kong for a photo shoot.

hmm. i'm not too sure if it's the whole week. monday was bora, tuesday and last night was pre-recorded. not too sure about the other days. i know for sure sunday is live since we have bora as well.

if you'd like to watch bora, go to the big purple and white button on the left menu. you need to login and then you can watch the video. if your connection is bad, you can always download from mygodskygod cb for the bora clips.

if the show is pre-recorded, i doubt he'll be reading what we write on sudabang. but we usually post anyway because we love. <333333. ahahahahaah! sunday is going to be a busy night. i hope the server doesnt crash. >_< *touches wood*

The transformation to a solo singer of g.o.d. member Sohn Ho Young, who will be having his first solo concert
"First. LOVE LETTER-TO.YOU", is gaining a lot of interest.

Last August 17, 70% of concert tickets for Sohn Ho Young's concert were sold in 1 hour, according to four ticket
officers. This caused a surprise since the singer's 1st album "YES" has not even been released.

This record has made him rise to number 1 in the Interpark advance ticket sale chart and defeated Psy and Lee
Seung Chul.

"30 minutes before the opening of ticket sales, many people already rushed in, paralysing the ticket sale
system", according to an Interpark official.

Sohn returned to Seoul morning of August 17 after a pictorial.

Sohn Ho Young, who debuted 8 years ago, will be holding his concerts on September 30 and October 1 at the
Seoul Olympic Park Hall.
