Sohn Ho-young, 27, a former member of the former boy band g.o.d., will present a special summer concert at Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park on Aug. 18 and 19.

To help his fans stay cool, Sohn -- who made his successful solo debut in December -- will bring the ocean to life onstage by combining water and laser technology.

The concert, entitled "Under the Sea," will be in three parts, each of which will be designed to make his different characteristics stand out. The first part will be filled with his powerful dancing incorporated into his songs; this will be followed by a romantic second part, with the theme of "The Little Mermaid."

The concert's finale will be marked by dance and music and the audience will play a key role in keeping the party alive. "The event is meant to attract more than regular concertgoers by providing far more things to enjoy than live music," Sohn said in an interview.

Debuting in 1999 a vocalist in g.o.d., Sohn, with a decent voice and killer smile, has been a key contributor to the popularity of the group. The boy band enjoyed tremendous success, releasing seven regular albums until they were disbanded two years ago.

Read my sig.. and their coordi previously work with TaeWoo during god 6th or 7th jib album... i so want to talk to her... you know to ask anything about god but due to different language. it kinda hard... my friends have told her that i'm the fan of god..

but at least it still means fangods are still very much evident here - and will not let go of this group no matter wut, haha~

it's all been good (= seriously, realizing just how huge god is, it makes me so proud that they're actually quite great in person too ^^

some of the experiences i've read/saw;

1) my fren chatted with someone who went to the 2002 Mtv asia awards where god had performed, and managed to meet them all - she said all of them were nice, and she pointed out that Danny was the most friendliest among them, keke~

2) was watching a mtv special on god when they were in singapore, and while they were eating, they heard a few fans screaming for them from afar... thus, made tae woo ask them to come over, where they then shook hands with the fans, signed autographs and even took a group pic (SERIOUSLY. where the hell was i this time, gawd >__<;) and fyi, kye sang seemed intent on spelling one of the fan's name correctly while signing an autograph for her, lol~

u can check out the tae woo thread to read about a fan's encounter with him just a few months ago - he was soooo playful, haha xD

and ckim914, quite random, but hope u already checked out 'danny's jokes' thread in the Blue rain forum - it's basically a collection of fangods' encounters with our dear danny, so yeah, NOT TO BE MISSED, seriously! mwaha~ would like to share it here but errr... i'm not actually sure if i could, since it's about him alone, so...yeah =.=;

Danny the most friendliest?? ohh i thot joon or hoi or taewoo would be the one coz danny seems to be kinda shy to me..yeah not also coz seeing him in happy together during god 6th jib makes me think he is totally one funny guy, i could not stop laughing..

anyway did anyone watch hoi in jiwhaza..(this is god related..err i hope so )..there's one part where how were playing the game with donghae from suju but he end up falling down into the water..when donghae started dancing im all over excited when they played god song, sky blue balloon, and then hoi were dancing to it..emmm at that time, i wish that all god members were there to dance together with hoi..huhu

the same happened in last week ep of star king where they played god song, i could not recall what song,but it makes me want to cry when i hear god song coz variety shows would rarely play god song when they were still together
