I don't go any lower than SPF50, and I only use Korean or Japanese brands for my face since they don't have that strong sunscreen-y smell. But using SPF50 or higher is to prevent tanning. If you just want to block UV rays, then I think SPF15 is the minimum.

I use Aveeno Continuous Protection SPF70. It's a spray on mist, pretty good!

can spf 70 be used every day ?
Yes, it can. The only thing with high SPF is that the higher the number, the higher amount of the sunscreen ingredients, and some people say higher SPF also equals more oil/greasiness.
As far as I know (in America), Neutrogena's Helioplex technology in their sunscreens is the most protective. However, Europe supposedly has the most advanced sunscreen technology in the world, but many of their products haven't been approved for sale and use in the USA yet (Meroxyl was the most recent approved and is distributed under Loreal).

I use Aveeno SPF15 on the face. Great for moisturization and blocking UV rays.
Oh, and I think anything higher than SPF15 will sting your eyes...

Why do I always break the sig rules with Changmin pictures?
Maybe it's because he's too...

If you just want something for everyday, you can get lotion with sunscreen in it. I use a face lotion with spf 15 everyday and I use Vaseline's Daily Skin Protective shield lotion with spf 15 for my body.
When I'm going to the beach, pool, waterpark, etc., I use a specific sunscreen that is meant for the face. The one I have right now is spf 30 and I have a spf 70 for the body, but I haven't used it yet. Maybe when I go to Tahoe next month.
