My nose, forehead, and area around my nose are very oily ALL THE TIME. I also have a lot of blackheads on my nose.
The rest of my face, like my cheeks and chin are very smooth and never get oily at all.
Sometimes during the day, I'll use oil blotting sheets, but my face just gets oily again after about 30 mins!
What are some good products or skin-care regiments that will effectively help me get rid of the oil on my face?
A lot of products that I've used in the past don't work or they are too harsh for my skin...
I just realized that this may actually belong in the beauty section, so please move if necessary! SORRY!

i think you have a combination skin type like me
its when only ur t-zone is oily.
for me, i just use biore (shine-control) for daytime/nightime
and i use biore (this one facial cleanser with beads in it to exfoliate)
then during the day, i just put some powder over my face to suck up the oil
u can also just use a napkin or something, instead of oily blotting sheets
that's what i do now
oh i also use olay moisturizer in the morning (for combo skin)
and i used clinque dramatically whatever moisturizer at night LOL
use some of those biore nose strips for ur blackheads!
and just exfoliate every other day to keep the blackheads from coming back
i hope i helped a bit

maybe exfoliate? it dries out your skin.. but then if you dry it too much, your skin will produce even more oil!
and i heard if your skin gets used to the clean&clear oil blotting sheets, your skin will make more oil than before. ^^;
sorryy wasn't much help.

It’s not easy for me to say this, so listen to me carefully. You just might hear it. I love you.

Exfoliate a couple of times a week and use a cleaner for oil-prone skin. I use Aveeno foam face cleanser and it leaves my skin feeling oil-free right after, so maybe try that?

The best solution for me is: EXERCISE! sweat out all those toxins.

Not for me... My face used to be so clear but ever since I started bunch of sports, I break out because of excessive sweat or something.

^ I think it's because what you eat? I don't think it's because of your sweat.

yea cus i heard sweating's really really good for your skin! it cleans out your pores. but maybe if you don't wash your face after then the 'dirt' will go back into your pores. cus going into saunas is really good for your skin

I think if your hair is on your face while you do sports and you sweat a lot, the toxins and dirt just go right back into your pores.
I'm not really sure though.

you need to clean your pores out well after sweating, so exfoliate or something.
oily skin can come from your moisturizer. my old moisturizer made my skin really oily, but now I use an aloe based one, which doesn't make my face oily at all.
it can also be from dry skin too, so keep your skin hydrated.
there are also oil control lotions, which mine doesn't hydrate the skin, but prevents oil. It works well, but you can feel it on your skin.
