People have had some good luck after buying a salvage/lemon, but for me personally I wouldn't touch them with a 6-foot pole even if the price was good.

im sure there are others reasons for not getting the accord
it being "almost new" due to major repair is NOT a good thing
that means it must have been damaged greatly and i would not risk it

but be happy....i drove a minivan for a few months.....which wasn't so bad, but a regular sedan would have been nice lol

Being the car was wrecked previously and fixed is not a good thing. Once it's wrecked, it'll never drive like it did before.

Ever since the my Accord had that wreck. The rear suspension squeeks during the whole car ride. Spray parts of it with WD40 and it becomes quiet for like one day. Even lubed everything up and it only lasted a week.

Uh, I'm in the same exact situation as you are...
But uh, yeah it might not be the car that you had initially wanted...

But when you're older/have a decent job... buy your own car to your own standards/wants....................
Until then, just take whatever your parents give you I guess.
You have for like 18(?) something years already anyways.

Oh damn, I read somewhere the Reno is made by Daewoo. I hope they stepped up their quality or else good luck. Cars.com's "5 year ownership" cost feature says the car depreciates in value by almost HALF in the first year.
