Grocery shopping can be a pain sometimes because I have such a hard time choosing what to buy for lunch for the entire week. Not only am I on a budget, I also like to eat healthy so it makes it difficult to find food that is nutritious and filling at the same time. Any ideas of what to bring for lunch? What do you usually eat for lunch?

Any Ideas For A Healthy Lunch?

I usually bring my leftovers from dinner (and it's always Chinese Food).
The selection ranges for lunches, because some people bring "hot lunches" or "cold lunches".
For Cold lunches, I suggest:
Wraps (they cut down on the bread, so less carbs); stuff them with veggies and some GOOD cheese (no processed-- that ruins any 'healthy' point of it). You can also stick a moderate amount of meat in it.
Salad (go with minimal dressing, or use a vinegrette instead. You can skip the meat, and add nuts instead- fibre AND protein in the nuts[ [but again, in moderation])
From me, cold lunches should focus on veggies, nuts, beans, and fibre since cold meat isn't always the safest bet.
Hot lunch, I suggest:
Taking a reasonably-sized container, and making sure at least 1/3 of it is veggies (not drenched in oil from previous cooking)
The rest of the container is pretty much free-style and up-to-you.
I don't suggest taking granola bars for lunch-- they are decieving. Instead take fruit. It's hard to stay away from snacking on sugary things, but if you have a fruit lying around close to you at all times, it's easy.
