I tend to fall for older guys because most of them are mature than the ones that are my age.
If you love someone and they love you back, go for it!

I'm not really fond of dating someone who is like, the same age as my dad or something :l
At the moment, the max I would go is like, 4-5 years older

No, it's not weird at all. My first love was 14 when I was 18.
There's a possible chance he likes you.
Just make sure you're both aware of your limits.

I mean when you finish uni and have a stable job and such I think it's okay to date someone who's a few years younger than you as long as they're in the same stage as you in yuor life.
It's only a big deal when you're in high school with the whole freshman, senior blaar.

I wouldn't personally date anyone younger than 17, just based on what I've seen about the maturity levels of those people. I go for older guys, always. But the oldest I've ever dated was 3 years apart? I was 13 and he was 16. A guy younger than me liked me before, and to be perfectly honest, it was kind of awkward. I find that older guys, while they're still immature, they're more readily able to differentiate between when it's time to be serious and when it's time to not be serious. My boyfriend now is 19 and he's probably one of the silliest people I've met. But I can talk to him about problems with my friends and things like that and he can tell me his opinion. I would set my limit at 21 though.
keep the faith.

I agree.
And maybe this is more gut reaction to me than anything else, but seeing an old guy with a young girl, or an old women with a young guy gives off a sense of perversion. The idea of dating someone your parents' age is bizarre to me, and seems to belie something lacking psychologically.

this question has always been bugging me...as a girl and i guess because of the culture in london i don't think its quite acceptable for girls to date younger guys... but my recent bf was younger than me and i found it embaressing to tell everyone his age. I am 20 and he was 17 when i met him....but he lied to me and told me he was 3 months younger until we started dating and he told me he was actually 17 when we met! I was pissed as you can imagine but we didn't split but the problem now is that i am quite embaressed..
so girls would you date a guy younger than you? and is it ok in your opinion?
guys, how do you feel on dating older ladies?

No, I don't downgrade.
But in some situations, I might consider it. Maybe if I was a bit older, it wouldn't be so akward.

You know they say as you get older, age is less of an issue and becomes more of a number...
I think it varies on the person...so if you click and you're on similar levels, why not go out with him?
3 yrs isn't much of a difference either .... if its okay with you, then everything is good.

we have to be able to connect on the same level and the maturity has to be there as well.
It's possible to love at any age though~ I am talking to someone younger then me at the moment.
It's the first younger guy so we'll see how it goes~

i find it quite interesting anyway.
personally, i don't see a problem with it.
I guess like some said age is just numbers and the thing that really matters is if we are able to connect at the same level and if our maturity level suits?
anyway, my current boyfriend is 9 years older than me.
for your information, i am 19 this year and this make him 28 this year.
we are having a great relationship now. so does it really matters?
