Hey guys and girls~

I happen to be a close friend of someone who is dating someone 10 years their elder. The guy is late teens and the chick is late 20s. Lots of people don't believe me when I tell them this tho... lol
Anyway~ You know how there is this stereotype in which the guy is usually older than the chick.

So- Would you guys flip this stereotype like my friend? If so, how many years would your 'limit' be.

Take into consideration that you haven't met this person (and you don't know how great they are until you meet them right?) so your opinion may be influenced by that.

Its just something I have been wondering about lately...

Would you date someone with a age gap over 3 years in general?

Nope. 0 days younger is the lowest limit I'd go.
Sorry, I just don't think I would be able to handle the immaturity.

I doubt I'd be able to relate to a guy 10 years younger than me, even if they are a 'great' person. Dx

i like mature/mysterious guys which is mostly are older to my age

My age gap limit is 4 years older and 1 year younger. Idk why, haha. I just kinda like older guys more.

i think its fine either way..my sister is dating somone younger than her..and i'm dating someone 6 years older..

i used to tell myself 5 years is okay.. but my current bf..is a MAJOR exception!

The youngest I would date a guy is 1 year younger =\ I really hate immature guys, and girls tend to mature faster than guys, if that's the case then the guy has to be very mature for his age if he's younger than me if I were to date him.
I would date a guy up to 10 years MAX older than me, but the guy i'm dating right now is only 4 years older than me but i'm cool with that

10 years older for me. But even then, I'd probably still go older. XD As for younger... I'm old enough--and young enough--that I can still get in trouble for dating people younger. (Ah, the tender age of 19. =D) So I don't know where I would draw the line. So technically, I draw the line at a year younger. When I turn 20, two years younger. It just depends on maturity and intelligence. People can look down on me for that if they want to, but the way I see it, life is short and I'll live it how I want to (as long as I'm not hurting someone in the process). Ask me again in five or so years. ^o^

Before (a few months ago) I wouldn't imagine myself dating a younger guy, in fact I was totally against older girl & younger guy relationship. But once you actually know the person, age doesn't matter much anymore. The youngest for me though is one-two years max right now. But when I'm in my mid 20s things might be different, depending how fast the person matures.

ahh reminds me of my spanish teacher's son, he's 26...and his girlfriend is....around 45-47 she is older then my spanish teacer o.O

Truth is i like older guys, but not super old. I want him to be able to keep up with me.
My boyfriend is 3 years older then me but he looks my age rofl.

I would date somebody older than myself. Hey, if we click, we click. I have my eye on some guys who are 5-8 years my senior.

I wouldn't go for anyone younger than 3 yrs..
just cuz I'm pretty young and the guy would be even younger
like I'm 19 and if he was 15 that would be just weird
I could take anything maybe 17 and above (16 if hes mature

The oldest is 4 years and the youngest? ZERO. I don't date guys who are younger than me, even if 1 day younger, nope. funny how people say age is just a number but they're disgust by it as well.

.. so for some of you, if a guy were just a day younger than you, you wouldn't consider him at all? o_O; i don't see how a day or even a few months can really make such a difference.

preferably AT LEAST 1 year older, limit would be about 5 years..for now at least (i'm 18)
it would probably change to 10 once i get a bit older.

yeah..i don't really go for younger guys. =/
