Ever get a scolding from someone else's mom/dad? Why? What happened? And would you ever scold someone else's children?

I didn't necessarily get any scolding, but there was this one mom who was scaring the crap out of me by saying how all these kids in Korea would hate on me because I'm from America and don't speak Korean very well and stuff. :\

I didn't know what to say, but I was really getting sick of it and wanted to tell her to go away, but like...that's kind of rude in a typical Asian-tradition kind of a thing.

I don't think I'd scold someone else's children - I think I'd let the parents know first, and if they don't do anything, then yeah, I think I might tell the kid about how it's not respectful or something. I wouldn't smack him/her or anything of that sort though. o_o;;

Yeah, it happens to me once but I didn't exactly get scold. It was a long boring lecture on life from someone else's parent.
I would never do that to someone else's kids even if they were extremely getting out of control. I would let their parent deal with them. I have my own children (in the future) to take care of.

Happened to me too, but not from another parent, but from another complete stranger which I have no relation too. WTF.
But i've forgotten what she scolded me about.. I would never scold another person's child, that's just a waste of my energy.

My teacher did that to me once...
And I cried infront of my 40 classmates!
I was like the president/leader of the class so she assigned me the key to our room...
I arrived late that day so she scoulded me for something I can't even remember now...

yes a few times..it's quite embrassing because it's not your parents i mean your parents it sort of is but your used to it you know? lol i remember this one time when i was younger my aunt got mad at me and my cousin scolded at us for awhile that got her even more mad,and hit both of us and hit me wayy worster then her. T_T she was like,"well i get hit by her more often!" wow great come back eh?!

let's call her kiwi. and the other girl's mom poopy[cuz she scares me and she's the mom of my enemy and she's the mom that stalks me]<-she called me one time to hang out at her place cuz she heard me from my enemy. poopy was happy to see me cuz i was azn.[what a racist]

anyway, kiwi was waiting to go to the dance w/my enemy.[don't worry not as a couple, cuz thats called being a lez, no offense to any of them]

my enemy never showed up. almost 2 hours passed, so kiwi went to the dance by herself.

the next day poopy called kiwi and yelled at her for not waiting for my enemy.

thats stupid. first of all, shes not kiwi's mother. second of all, it's my enemy's fault for not showing up. and third of all, in america, you don't scold someone that u don't even know well.

huh? i'm from america and i'm not fluent in korea, and when i moved to korea to live there for four years, no one hated on me... but anyway, i have been scolded by another kid's mom this one time a looong time ago. we were playing hide and seek and some of us decided to hide in the washing machine. obviously the mom was going to scold us.

i don't remember if this has happened to me, but i think it's incredibly rude of them if they do scold.
i only accept scoldings from my parents ... definitely not from some other kid's parents.

I wasn't really scolded but there's one time I was really embarrassed in class because of the teacher. I cursed her... but then we got along after some time.

No, not that I remember. I will be pissed off if somebody -other than my parents- would scold me. Though I will keep quiet, only to be respectful to elders. But still.. >.<

I definitely would not scold at other children. they have their own parents to handle them, it's not my business. And plus, it wouldn't be nice if you scold at other's children, right? >.< Just mind your own future children would be enough ^^

When I was young, my friend's mom yelled at me because she thought I taught her daughter how to lie. O____o I didn't even hang out with her daughter much.
