I'm planning on buying one for someone's birthday, since he broke his mp3 player ages ago. ~_~
Anyways, do you recommend it? Any experiences and such? I know about the specs so far; I'm kinda bummed about the 10-hour battery life(2 GB), but the rest is good for me.
I just wanna know first-hand experiences and stuff. And also, are the included earphones any good?
If not, then any recommendations? Anything that's on the same price range/specs as the stone/stone plus, because I still have a lot to spend on, and he doesn't really need that much space(heck, his last mp3 player only had 4 songs in it. .__.;;).
Thanks in advance!

ive got one, its alright. Thats all i can say, theres nothing really to go wrong with it. The battery life is truly bad tho; i get maybe 5hrs max.
the included earphones are better than the ipod ones but kinda cheap looking. Also, the stone scratches easily. Its pretty decent for the price. Good luck on your decision!

10 hour battery life is exaggerated.
Excellent if you're on a low budget, same thing as an iPod shuffle and some more.
To prevent scratches, they sell cases for the Stone.

What kind of cases are available? And around how much?

Criticism does not equal bashing.

im not sure about where you live, but my stone came with one silicone case for free. If you buy one from creative, theyre like $10... kinda expensive considering the zen only costs like 40. But they have a clip. I think that there are only silicone ones.
