How Do I Become Scrawny? Like...those Asian Girls That Are Tiny Because They're Just Tiny Will starving work?

I know there's a sexy curvy skinny...where most of the time, you have to work out...and then there's that natural Asian skinny. Example:

Curvy skinny:


Scrawny skinny:


Please don't tell me it's genetics...because anorexics usually are able to obtain the scrawny look. Is it because of muscle? Or small bones? What is it that makes some girls stick skinny and some girls curvy skinny (which is usually the girls who get skinny after years of being fat). What about fat girls who wanna be a stick? What do they do?

well Asia does face a problem with anorexia....so that's my assumption. Other than that the only thing i can think of is it's because of their lifestyle which is completely different from ours.

not all girls are curvey cause people's bones are different. for example, most asian's hip bones are not very protruding, therefore, not as much curves or none. and most asians dont have big chests, so when they get skinnier, the chests tend to be even flatter, now you have the scrawny skinny. its never healthy to be stick skinny (and even for people with fast metabolism, that natural stick skinny wont last forever....probably ends when you hit late 20s, then they tend to gain a lot of weight cause they cant change their eating habits). most asian girls who look stick skinny, their stomach is usually ugh....=x

fat girls who wanna be a stick? .... starve..? =_= they cant get down to a stick by exercising and being healthy...

really, just be healthy ._.

i dont know why you'd want to be SCRAWNY.
trust me, people do NOT look good when they're anorexic skinny.

if you want to become thin, dont starve yourself. It's just going to end up hurting yourself.. ><

first of all, don't starve.
whatever you do, DO. NOT. STARVE.
cause that is the worst way to try to lose weight.
and i think it is in genetics like yokisuo explained.
if your curvy, you can't really suppress your curves..its something youre born with.

just keep losing it.... you're gonna have to work out for a while

b/c certain exercises can tone you up but if you KEEEEEEEP exercising... don't you just lose your muscle fat too?

asians on the other side of the world have a different diet than from ours in america(if you live here). please don't think about starving yourself. that's not the way to go.

do it the right way.

^^that cannot be healthy. you most likely aren't getting the necessary nutrients people need daily. most people are just a bit below but you must not be getting A LOT of the daily nutrients.

Being stick skinny might seem appealing and cute...but once you hit 20 and are still stuck in a little girl's body...you'll want curves o.O I agree that it's cute...but on like 12 year olds lol.

Anyway...it's genetics ._.

Half are genetics and half work to be skinny. Don't cut your meals at all and eat healthy, which means low calories, fruits, etc. Exercise.

^ Yeah.. but peer pressure, all my friends are doing it so why can't i.. it shouldn't be too bad. some fruit and salad for breakfast and lunch, and a small meal for dinner - actually that sounds okay to me.

Yeah, I have a friend who's scrawny skinny..
people kept on admiring her..skinniness..
until she showed them her lack of a figure and stomach.
of course, she's fresh off the boat/plane, which explains it all.
(eating habits)

Really, it's all about the diet and genetics.
Curvy is pretty!

But if you want to lose weight, then don't eat so much during the night-time, and make sure you get enough at breakfast and lunch.
Don't starve, because that's really unnecessary and produces a really bad effect.
Exercise too! You'll find that you'll thin out, and you'll have a bit of muscle to spare.

ya sadly in asia it seems like stick thin is better than curvy thin...i think its the weather though, in hotter places like taiwan people are more skinny since you burn more calorie in hot places and likely to eat less

but then its rainie yang we are looking at there

There is something called 'best weight' which is the peak point where people can't lose any more weight. It is different for different people, and usually depends on genetics. Some people's best weight can be far under 100, but other people can't get past 120 or higher, no matter how much they try to eat healthier or exercise.

I don't know why you would ask to starve yourself. It's been around that starving yourself will make things worse, like what everyone said just eat a well balance meal and remember to exercise, also don't eat 3 hours before you sleep it gives your body time to digest

im more of the 'curvy' type
or i am compared to her smile.gif

you can always try to workout a lot
loose a lot of fat and you'll probably achieve that

you need fat to live. that's like... a fact. if you only eat fruit (b/c it doesn't sound like that "one small meal" would do much), your body will miss out on the many essential nutrients it needs. bone density will go down, and you'll end up scrawny AND hunchbacked and weak-kneed and short when you're 40 years old, or maybe even earlier.
