Staying At An Apt Or Living At Home? I need advice. >.<

I'm currently living at an apt for ~$300-320/mo (inc. utilities). It takes me 30 minutes to walk to school from my apartment, and it would take 30 minutes to drive to school from my parent's house. I would be driving Monday-Friday to school (about 15 mi on the highway) on an old Honda Civic. Gas price is around $4.10/g around here.. and School parking fee is.. i believe, almost $200 (?) per semester.. My university is small, so they dont have dorms..
I'm really having a hard time deciding what would be best.. and it's stressing me out.. So i'd really appreciate all of your advice.
What would be cheaper? Which do you guys think would be most beneficial? What are you guys doing?
**The thing is.. I'll probably be moving out into a different apt (conflict with roommates, and it's WAY too noisy in my apt), an so the rent may be $400-$450.. still worth it?

Get yourself a bike while you're at it. 15 miles to and from school everyday at over $4 a gallon isn't worth it.

You're probably better off staying at the apartment. Keeping a car is probably more costly than just walking everyday or riding a bike.

You might want to get yourself a roommate though so you two can split the cost of rent, which is already incredibly cheap.

Plus, if you're closer to school, you'd have a better chance of showing up if some emergency required your attention. Immediately. 30 minute walk isn't bad, and bikes are pretty cheap. Just get a second-hand if you don't want to buy a new one.

your rent is pretty cheap
rent here is like twice that and + =_=

if a bike is out of question then how about running? lol jk seriously though, PRACTICE RIDING A BIKE. can't stand the gas prices then do SOMETHING about it. =) good luck.
