share your senior projects!
whether you've graduated a long time ago, are going to graduate, or are going to be seniors...
what are some of the things you've done or are thinking about doing for your senior project?

i'm curious because i have no idea what i want to do next year!
(hopefully a thread like this hasn't already been created, i'm just making this thread on impulse.)

We had to build a private server for WoW, just cause the teacher was a WoW nerd.
But we didn't take her seriously and took a chunk off our marks.

in high school, i had a multimedia concentration.. so my senior project was anything we wanted. i made a flash website with my partner. it didn't take that long, and we just slacked off the rest of the year. fun times.. you can tell there wasn't a LOT of effort put into it.. but it was the first flash site i ever made biggrin.gif

I remembered my senior project was about health. (we can choose whichever topic we like, but the topics must be confirmed with the principal)
I had to write an 8-10 page research about it.
Our school made all the seniors present their project with a power point judged by at least 3 random teachers from the school.
I still had an A even though I didn't know how to respond to this tough question (I forgot what question it is) that this teacher had ask me

I did mine on Qwest Field, this stadium we have over in Seattle, WA. I created a virtual tour (sort of) to present to my class. I had a powerpoint as well as make brochures for everyone in the class. I ended up getting an A in one teacher, and a B from another ( I had two teachers grading me on this). Felt great, because I went first (out of 60) to present. smile.gif

Ohh, this is interesting. Sorry I have nothing to share though. We don't get senior projects here; we just have finals! Oh the horror of finals. ohmy.gif Some of these seem like they would be fun to do, though maybe if I really had one I wouldn't want to do it because I would probably be suffering from senioritis and the likes... x_x

We don't get Senior projects. I had AP classes, so the AP exam was basically my final. For regular classes, they have actual finals.
After AP week, it's chill~

Qwest Field is a great stadium. Haven't been to a game unfortunately, but have been inside it.

Anyways, for our school, seniors have to make an 8-10 minute Power Point presentation on their future profession. They have to write what they want to be, how they get to there, the education necessary, why you want to be it, etc.

I had to do a science project on the 3 second rule. We had to grow bacteria and everything. Plus a 10-15 page report & a powerpoint presented at Cal Tech. My best friend and I aced it.

For our senior project for AP Eng., we had to research a cellphone company called Palm, and suggest the following information: Name/logo, location to advertise new product (ie. word baseball classic), where to place commercial advertisements (ie. fox), and where to place ads. on the internet (ie. yahoo.com).

It took three weeks to do a 20 page report, a powerpoint, and a presentation for our apeng. teacher and the the company's representatives! *Phew!

It was all worth it though because we ended up getting a 196/200 smile.gif

I wrote a research paper on reincarnation. it was an easy A for me and I got along with the teacher, so it wasn't too hard.

We don't get senior projects where I live. I kind of wish they did though.
My cousin (who lives four hours from me) has a senior project to do. He's gonna paint his car.

What exactly is a senior project? Do seniors have total freedom choosing their project? How are they graded? Who do they present their project to?
