Hey guys, I'm graduating HS soon and wanna get myself a new camera as a reward for myself I've had my eye on the Ricoh Caplio R6/7 for a while now and I just wanted to see if anybody here has any opinions on it. Does anybody have any experience with Ricoh cameras? Is it worth $250 (roughly) of my hard earned and saved up money? I've been a Canon user and for the same price of $250, I'd be able to get a pretty decent Canon point and shoot camera too, but the Ricoh is really appealing to me.

I just wanted some feedback on it and see if anybody has actual experience with the camera.

I don't know about Ricoh that much, but it seems like an okay camera judging by its specifications (you are talking about Ricoh Caplio R7, right?). However, I would personally go with a Canon PowerShot camera because I'm a sucker for aperture (the Ricoh is f/3.3 while most Canon cameras are f/2.8).
