Lately, I have been downloading these new music files and they dont open up in my music player.

Currently, I'm using foobar. However, when I open the file with Window Media Classic Player, it would begin to play.

And I notice the file is not an mp3 file o.o or is it...idk?

Im not sure, but this is the file's type - audio/mpeg3.

So my question is there any software that I can use to convert it back into MP3? =o

audio/mpeg3 is mp3. audio/mpeg3 is just mp3's expanded form.

erm but it wont open up in my foobar player? is there any way I can fix it? :/

U kno how usually when u dl a music file, the icon would look like an Itunes file, Window Media file, or watever ur main music player is, but this one doesn't look like anything.

The icon looks like those file that asks u to select a program to open it.

What do you mean by foobar won't "open it up"? Does it give you error? What happens when you right-click on the file, move the cursor to "open with" and then selecting foobar in the dialogue box that opens up?

Also try downloading the latest foobar version from their website and install it, see if it works after that.

Right click on your file, click rename, and type Frankie.mp3, and enter. Try playing the file again. Worst comes to worst post the file on a web space so I can download it and troubleshoot better
