so like i currently have a htc 8125. and i have unlimited texting so i really enjoy the keyboard phone. im looking for a new phone since i have to give up my htc 8125 to my bro please help me out. i havea budget of 200 and so far ive been
considering:

sidekick 3/lx
blackberry pearl
and LG vu
iphone...

any inputs?

Hold up, I didn't think that AT&T has Sidekick as one of their "phones"? I thought the Sidekick was only T-Mobile?

I hate AT&T's phones, honestly .... poor selection. That is why I'm phoneless but still under AT&T's darned contract. RAWR! *shakes fist at AT&T*

from the choice you've given me I would have to choose... blackberry curve instead of pearl (better phone overall and not much more expensive), or iphone. pearl's keyboard is bad... I hate suretype, just give me a full qwerty keyboard which the curve does!

actually i dont want a sidekick anymore, i thought it was pretty cool and fun to have but not many features that i can play with, and to me it seems more like for the kids, i kind want a smart phone. thats where im comming from.

yeah the sidekicks are for tmobile exclusively. haha i can understand what you mean, i was originally with t-mobile but they never gave me any real discounts even though ive been with them for a couple of years. and then i was individual with that, now im with my bro's contract [family] at at&t and i get more service plans for the same price [bro gets a UCSD discount]

ive been doing some research and yeah i noticed the blackberry phones are going back on the market, most people dont like it so much and im not quiet sure if im going to have fun with the blackberry without the blackberry services. the kind of keypads for blackberrys are called suretype?

Its between iPhone and Lg Vu on your list.

They can both change to landscape typing.

Im not sure with the iPhone but the Vu can in txting.
