Has anyone seen this? I recently became a huge fan of Edward Norton and have been checking out all of his movies. I particularly liked American History X, which came out a long time ago. It's a really disturbing but thought-provoking movie.

Thought I would recommend it to everyone.

Plot A brutal Neo Nazi skinhead named Derek Vinyard is tried and sent to prison for three years for the murder of two black guys who tried to steal his truck. When he returns from prison reformed, his younger brother Daniel Vinyard who idolizes him is on the brink of becoming a Neo Nazi himself. Derek must save his younger brother from a similar fate.

That gave me chills down my spine, he's so bada**! smile.gif

I saw this from the part where the older brother returns home. This movie was pretty gruesome (in terms of what the skinheads did) but at the same time really thought provoking. It's especially really scary because the biggest skinhead gang is in Huntington Beach (or so I heard...) which is not that far away from where I live :X

wow, it's been so long since i watched this; college days, probably. great, great film, visceral to the core. a gripping indictment of our times. powerful, moving, and heartbreaking. a must-see for our generation. (ok, now i sound like the blurbs at the back some book/dvd. rolleyes.gif)

One of my favorite films...Edward Norton and Edward Furlong are amazing in this. The ending, however,... tears.gif

eventhough i've seen this movie a few times, it's still increadibly shocking. it's just impossible to watch this movie and not be affected by it.

A song can take you back instantly to a moment, a place or even a person.
No matter what else has changed in you or the world, that one song stays the same, just like that moment.
