Do You Feel Uncomfortable When Someone Watches You Eat?

For some reason, I just think it's weird when someone watches me eat whether they are friends or strangers (especially strangers). I get self-conscious like I'm worried that they think I eat like a pig lol! And I wonder what are these people thinking in that situation? "yeah, eat that sandwhich good". So weird. Or are they looking because they wants some of my food? Find something else to look at or go get some food of your own. Leave me alone

I don't mind when other people watch me eat, but I have a friend who does. She eats slower than I do so when we eat together and I finish eating first, I just watch her eat while waiting for her to finish. She tells me not to watch her, so I look away.

But I really don't think anything when I watch other people eat - it's more like staring into space towards the direction of their food. :x

(Other times, I usually avoid looking at other people eat; it just makes me feel hungry.)

If it's my boyfriend I don't care but other people I don't feel comfortable if they're not eating and just sitting there and staring at me. It's just weird ...

I don't mind if it's my good friends or family.
But if it's people I don't know as well I do get conscious because I make this weird frowning face when I chew.

i hate eating in front of people.. it gets to the point where i can't even enjoy my delicious food

Yeah, I don't really like it when people watch me eat. I mean, I can eat with company, but if they're just sitting there staring at me instead of eating, I get really self conscious.

It depends.
I don't care when i'm eating eat "normal" things at home or in a restaurant.
But when i'm eating in a fastfood or a sandwich in the street, i definitely hate when people are watching me >.<

Yes, that's why I always try to eat faster than them.
It's really uncomfortable when someone else watch you eat.

yea i do! me and my good friend.. we always went out to eat korean food at this 1 korean joint.. and omg.. ppl stared at us like no tomorrow >,>

No I don't mind strangers or family and friends watching me eat. I eat while walking on the street all the time hahaha. I love food too much to care.

It really depends. It's awkward when people just stare at you while you're eating. It's like "Why are they staring? Do I look stupid? Is there something on my face?!"

When it's my friends, I'm okay with it, but if it's with people I'm not really familiar with, it gets pretty awkward.

lol. i get self concious when eating around people. not around my mom though xD
but even friends and strangers i get a weird feeling and get so uncomfortable eating.
like, "do i eat like a pig? am i eating too fast, too slow? does my nose look weird because its being stretched out by a full mouth?" xD
