You know that vertical line straight down your belly button? How are you supposed to get rid of it? Is shaving okay or will it grow thicker?

EDIT:
If I were to wax, what brand/type is good for this?

Shaving is EVIL.

I guess you can wax it or something.

Nope, shaving doesn't make hair thicker. That's the biggest myth ever. Just learned it in health class.

yeah
that's true,
it isn't really thicker,
it only looks like it. (....joy to the world)

It's not good to shave it though neither is waxing, it just makes the hair grow faster.
If if you had to choose, then choose waxing. use NADS, or hot wax. you can find it @ Walmart or Sally's.

but you should try bleaching it. it's much better that way.

I think hair removal creams are the easiest way to go, once you get past the smell. I use Nair. It's painless and it works.

Just based on your genes.

I'm the only girl in the family who has it, though. x.x

I epilate it.

No, it's definitely normal. Unfortunate, but normal. You're not alone in this either, so yeah. XD

My hair is really fine on my tummy actually so most of the time I just shave it becuase I'm lazy. I have no negative effects, sooo. :\

lol The hair on your stomach that goes vertically down is called your "happy trail" XD. I guess you can try waxing it with pre-waxed strips..like Sally Hansen or something because they have different size strips. Or epilate it? I don't suggest shaving because I dunno how it would look when it starts to grow out.

I use NAIR WAX STRIPS

Also, use a tweezer for the hairs that the strips can't pull out.

shaving works perfectly well... especially if the hairs are really fine and thin.
I have this problem too but my hairs are pretty thin...
(I wouldn't shave them except that although they're thin, they're jet black dry.gif)
my hair has not grown back thicker- like someone else, said that's a myth.
sig rules=fail.
i kinda quit soompi. if you see me posting it's in a moment of weakness and extreme boredom.

mine doesn't really make a 'trail' per se, just very fine hairs on my lower stomach xD
shaving works perfectly fine--it grows back looking the same. it doesn't look darker or thicker when it grows back.
