What's The Best Webcam?

Hi soompiers!
I'm thinking of buying a webcam...but I don't know which one to get or what I should look for >_<
So what would you guys recommend in terms of picture quality and sound (does it include sound? :S)
Ahh sorry for sounding so lost and noob >_<

i think logitech is the most popular brand for webcams?

some webcams do have a mic inside but don't expect any great recording

i need a new webcam myself..hahah one that can hook onto this dam lcd moniter

Up unttil recently, most webcams have been rather infelicitous 600x480 resolution with 15fps.


this Logitech webcam right here is 1280x1024 with 30 frames per second. GG.

one of the best webcams at the moment.

I was considering Haduri? (it seems so popular and everyone seems to have it, but the picture quality always looks so bad which is why i was hesitant >_<)

but ithink quickcam pro 9000 is awesome

There's something better than that if OP doesn't mind spending 40$ more. :2 2MP, 8MP still. Motion tracking too, it's kind of scary ... it'll really follow you around if it realizes that you're not on screen.

I have this one. I bought it from Best Buy a couple years ago for 120, but it looks like it went down.

If you have an XBOX360 you can also get that webcam because that works wonders as well.

haduri is a webcam program.

but i'm not sure if it works with vista yet (if you have vista)

oooh i like haduri a lot, but it says haduri on the screen below right <__<;;
i have logitech too, but for some reason my mom did something to my computer that it doesn't work anymore?!?!?!

=__=;; so no more webcam for me, gone forever :[

Logitech has some good webcams, but their drivers for the webcams can be annoying sometimes. Either way, I have the 6000 one I believe. The model number isn't even on the cam. Good cam, nothing wrong with it so far.
