Chestpain! Need someone that going to be a M.D...... :(

hi i have been taking this medication called prilosec ovt ( its for when your stomach feels sick and less heartburn) for at least 5-6 month.I took the medication cause i....thought i needed the meds cause i felt alittle sick in the stomach.Also take it cause when ever i eat something the food come back up..you know what i mean.so i take the meds.Then for awhile i start to have chestpain.Should i stop taking it?? tears.gif please give me advice...

Please go see a doctor, there can be different medication for the same ailment, but people's body's react differently to each.

^ agreed. Just see a doctor. No one can properly diagnose you on a forum.

Did your doctor tell you to take it? Maybe you have acid reflux. Just go to a doctor.

my friend takes prilosec & he has acid reflux disease.
