and the Giordano thing.. is there REALLY gonna be a CF that can be shown on TV, or are they just gonna release lotsa photoshoot shots?

i've never actually seen clothes brands that use TV ads, most of them use posters and photoshoots only..

yeah i have no idea. hyori was actually supposed to be in several different places but all ended up being in Finkl somehow. i heard diff stories but she was definitely in SM and they definitely lost her--and had a huge loss~~~

o well. they still have boa

And DSP wouldnt have survived till now without hyori's big makin' bux while SM is still doing just fine without her.

ehh.. so SM picked her up while taking sticker pictures and instantly sent her for training just like that? did she have to pay for her owning training, i wonder, or does SM pay for her?

the mysteries of entertainment companies..

heh yeahh and actually i kinda agree. besides FinKL and Sechskies, DSP didn't have any hit artistes. after Sechskies broke up, they were left with FinKL, who then went on hiatus.. so technically speaking besides Hyori, DSP hasn't been shipping anyone since 2003!

until they came up with SS501 recently...

random, but you know how lotsa people say FinKL was made to challenge SES, and now SS501 was made to challenge DBSK? DSP must really have something against SM!

^LOL YEAHHH!! have you heard of Super Girls?!! they're supposed to be the female version of Super Junior, from the same company.. i thought Super Junior was already a mistake, but it seems they didn't think so!

but i'm betting that in a couple of years, they'll break up / go on infinite hiatus, and then the few more popular members will go solo while the rest fade into oblivion..

it's always like that..

(luckily FinKL is still pretty active all around, though they're each in different sectors of the entertainment industry..

)

though i wonder.. the fans that are going might be of so many different nationalities.. how's Hyori going to communicate with them if they don't speak Korean and she doesn't speak English?

i just heard her new single "get ya" and i wanted to say it sounds A LOT like britney spear's "do something" especially the chorus and the part where she goes "im gonna get ya" >> "why dont you do something"

im sure the song was tremendously influenced by the song... and the rest of her album sounds britney-ish

EDIT: okay someone already mentioned this before hahaha but yea good to know im not the only one who noticed

^haha you're definitely not the only one. if you check the official Dark Angel album thread you'll find an entire country of people there who noticed it too.

but it's fine because Hyori herself said she's influenced by Britney and Ciara etc. so it's not surprising the songs have the touches of those artistes..

i have no idea at what age she was discovered by SM.. but i think SM picked her up.. and thinks that this gal has potential.. so they trained her.... and after training... they wanted to put her in SES but discovered that she doesnt suit the whole SES image... but at the same time they didnt want to sign her as a solo artist.. (maybe at that time the whole 'group' thing was in).. so they decided to release her.... and DSP snapped this jewel up !!! hehehe...

korean entertainment companies really train their artists for a long time.... ivy trained with JYP for 4 years before making her debut... and the funny thing is she didnt debut with JYP.. she is signed with LSY's company... not idea why in the world that happens...
