i think.. Boa's been hanging around too much in Japan instead of Korea, that's why her fanbase is huge outside of Korea, but within Korea itself, she's just another female celebrity.. i daresay even Hyori could be more popular than Boa in Korea.. on those Korean music polls about female artistes, we see Hyori, Chae Yeon, Bin, Ivy, Eun Jin, but we almost never see Boa on the poll at all!

^ im not saying this because im a boa fan kekeke but. at soompi shes not popular anymore... everyone isso gullible and thinks she fixed her entire face. -___-;; and so many other weird reasons...... -___-

But out of soompi shes still popular. True she spends more time in Japan... but even so... she is always guranteed to win the #1spot on music programs everytime. Hyori got really popular from her 1st album-CFs-anymotion. so yeah i do think she has more fans because shes older and have been in the entertainment industry for a long time.. (finkl=TONS AND TONS of fans) so she had a large fanbase with a bigger range of ages. kids-adults-teens. and Boa mostly has teens-preteens.



if she doesn't do a new album ..she should keep coming out with the songs for anycall cfs... cause those are way more popular than her second album =___=;;
i wonder if she wouldgo back into acting? even though shes heart broken that her 1st drama didn't do good at all... cause what else would she do??? Oh, maybe a mc for a radio program like ojh! ^^

he was talking about how when she was in high school, their family was always poor and couldnt give her anything she wanted and there was a time when she rly wanted to take art classes. since she knew they couldnt afford it, she worked hard on her own without telling her parents..her dad found out and he got really mad at her and hit her (not in an abusive way...the way asian fathers discipline)

and she didnt know this, but he confessed that he was overreacting more because he was taking out all his apologizing feelings towards his daughter at that moment for not being able to provide the things she wanted to do.

hyori said at that moment on the show that she had no idea he was feeling any kind of apologetic feelings and she cried . =(

goshhh... as father and daughter they've really come a long way together..

so Hyori went to work without telling her parents, so she could pay for her own art classes? that's one resilient girl you got there... and her dad's such a cool guy! i can totally understand how he felt at the time he found out Hyori was working.. and how Hyori felt when he said so on the show!

hmm... i think she should go into acting too.. the new blood in the acting scene's always around 18-22, it'll be cool once in a while to have an actress who's new but yet close to 30!

actually.. i think it'd be mad cool if she and some of the other vintage kpop gasoos could get together for a drama. because by that time, probably even Shinhwa/SES/etc. would be retiring too, so maybe she and them and some other gasoos can star in a drama together.. that'd be way cool!

she says she wants to do a radio thing and try acting again even if her first try failed. she says she wants to do a lot but doesnt know if she could achieve them.

ppl 'talk' about boa alot here...
i don't think boa's any less popular than hyori (i love both of them) in korea...
boa's popular in term of her music, dance, pop queen figure, and her achievements overseas as a Korean.
hyori's popular for her sexy appeal, trendy style, FinKL status, and her down-to-earth personalities which the public feel closer to (as oppose to Boa's months absence in korea every year)
about those internet polls, i never pay attention to them....they basically mean nothing and show nothing about what's really goin' on in reality....whoever's fans go on the polls gets the title...
i think it's becuz of Boa's international popularity that she's not considered to be just a domestic singer..thus Boa's often excluded from local stuff...
ALSO, who does have the proof of Boa fixing her face??? tell me please?
Boa has always been pretty, she came out when she was still growing, i mean, from 13-19, a girl does change like crazy.
i just hope that some ppl can give her a break.

im hot a huge fan of hers, but i always think boa's a person who deserves the world's applause for her great performances. to me--i dont think boa is singer that's about popularity or fans because i personally dont think shes one of those cheap gasoos so i really dont care how many more fans other gasoos have than her or not--she's like a legend to me.

as for hyori--im her fan but just wth personal likes about her and reasons why a person would just like a person rather than a singer. hyori's ranking has also gotten to a level where she pretty much doesnt need lil fans to make her a superstar, but she's not somebody who has classic talent or anything like that. hyori's just hyori--she has her own ways why she got popular and it worked so well that other girls try to use it too (and often dont work) i never know what to say about hyori in terms of why shes popular or whatever cus i just personally like her...just because.

anyway, theyre both strong people and i give them props for everything despite people talking left and right and arguing about whos more popular or who deserves this/that.
