YSMM HIGHLIGHTS
For Yen and anybody else who couldn't understand/requested

Well, they mainly focused this episode of Ya Shim Man Man on Shin Dong Yup, the guy with the black suit and V-neck, because he's one of the best MCs/comedians of Korea and he's getting married on May 27th. (SIDENOTE: He was the other MC with Hyori on Happy Together from 2001-2003 ^^ They're good friends and even had a scandal.)

Anyway, in the beginning, YSMM always asks each guest a question that was most asked on the YSMM website by fans. First they asked Shin Dong Yup how he proposed and he said he WAS going to do a really nice one where he took his gf to a musical and at the end, he wanted to ask the people to spotlight her and he'd come on stage to propose (aww) but he said the ppl told him that it wasnt allowed. Hahha. So..he said he thought a lot of diff things, but ended up just sending her a text message that said, "So...how many kids should we have?" And she responded..."A lot would be nice ^^"

And then the girls on the show was talking about how Hyun Young used to like him, Lee Hae Young (The other girl) had her first blind date with him and Hyori just didn't say anything. And then Park Jun Gyu was like "*I* have something to say about he and I as well." and then Shin Dong Yup's like "NO. YOU CANT say that story. Remember??? WE WERE BOTH OUTTA OUR MINDS AT THAT TIME!!" LOL

And then Hyori was like , "You know how you proposed to her with a text? Well...I think the girl would've been maybe a lil disappointed...so...I think you should say another proposal to her right here where the whole world can see." And then everybody started cheering and the MCs were like "WHOOA HYORI~~ See...she's definitely a pro." Hahha.

And Shin Dong Yup does as she says and he says on the TV Screen "First...I really thank you for marrying me...For the past couple of days, I thought hard about what love was, what marriage was and who you are to me and...the only thing I thought of was...somebody who I'm just so scared to lose. I promise I'll try my best not to lose you for the rest of our lives." (AWWWW)

And everybody was trippin on how sweet he was.
Sry...i know that dint rly have much to do with hyori, but it was a big highlight for me. hehhe. (NOTE: I am very jealous of that girl cus i love shin dong yup)

OK so the next guest they asked was Hyori. Her question was "What are your ways to get a guy to fall for you?" And she jokes, "I...don't think I need anything. Don't they just all fall for me?" (Everybody laughs)

And then they ask her "So you've never asked a guy out before first?" And she says she hasn't. Then, they asked her, "Then what are some ways a guy could do for you to sort of like them?"

And she was like "Hmmm maybe act drunk and fall over? Cus u know..I'd have to take 'em home."
And the Host was like "After today...MANY men are gonig to fall drunk in front of you."
Then she says, "Well of course it depends on WHO it is."
After, they asked her "Then have you ever told someone ELSE that you like a particular guy?" And Hyori says that well sometimes she says it to the guy as a joke and if his reaction isn't really going anywhere, she tells him she's kidding, but if he sort of shows that he likes her too...something happens. =)

Later, they get to Hyun Young and they talk about how she can be annoying on TV, but in real life, a lot of guys DO like her. Haha. (i love hyunyoung) She was talking about how there were atheltes who asked her out, too. And Hyori asked her how many...and Lee Hae Young says, "Oh..look, they communicate well." (referring to Hyori + Hyunyoung) and then Hyori says, "Wanna see who had more?" (talking about guys who asked them out.)

Then..Hyun Young says she had 2 athletes ask her out. And then they ask Hyori and she says, "Ah..I'll just give up and end the game. I had none." (Everyone knows shes just saying that)

OK SO THE REAL GAME BEGINS.


In case nobody knows how YSMM works, what they do is the show asks over 5,000 people over the internet from ages teens-40s a certain question and they get the top 5 most answered answer. Then, they bring celebrity guests on the show and they all try to guess the top 5 and if they answer something from 6th place +, the wind thingy on the table under them blows in their faces.

So, the guests aren't really trying to say what THEIR expreiences was, they should try to guess what other people would say...but it always ends up that they talk about their own experiences (which makes the show fun)

So this weeks, the question was "What is the most couragous thing done for love?"

First, Shin Dong Yup guesses "How about..you go a really far distance for the one you love? No matter what time of day, night no matter where...you can go." He says that once in the middle of the night, his girlfriend who is a Show Program director was working late at night...he went to go see her and she came out to see him..but she had no makeup on, like messed up clothes, her hair was just tied and she was sort of dirty cus she was so tired from hard work...but that moment of seeing her was so happy to him. Anyway--his answer was in 6th place so he was wrong. Then all of a sudden, he asks Hyori, "So even if YOU haven't...weren't there times when guys came to see you from far away places?" And Hyori was like "Hahaha..wat the...I thought Dong Yup oppa was MCing for a second." (cus he just outta nowhere randomly asked her.)

And he was like "Haha no..Im just wondering. I'm sure there were times when guys came to see you."

And Hyori was like, "Well...you know how you said your answer? After hearing your story...I thought about how for the GIRL...it would also take a lot of courage to SEE the guy when she's in a tired or messed up condition or when she's not fixed up so much. Like once...I got surgery under my eyes cus of wrinkles because they were really starting to bother me...but I didn't tell my boyfriend at all about me getting surgery. So..I just stayed at home for the week with the tape on my face that I wasnt supposed to take off so I couldnt wash my face or anything either. Then, my boyfriend calls me randomly and says that he's in front of my house and wants to see me. I told him, 'eh...sorry. I can't today...I'm really not in good condition.' and he kept saying he misses me and how he wants to see me. SO...since I thought he loved me and he would understand, I just left the house like that to see him....but then....it ended up that he had brought his best friend to introduce me and I had no idea about it. But he came all the way here, so I couldn't just go in...so we went out to eat at a restaurant and while we were eating, me and my boyfriend was really awkward, his friend had a really apologizing expression and the waitress kept coming by our table saying, 'she sorta LOOKS like lee hyori...but iont think it's her.' so it was rly embarassing. After his friend went home, my bf and i fought a lot about that...though we did make up afterwards." Then, the MC asked her, "So what happened to that guy?" And Hyori says so naturally, "Oh we broke up." Hahha.

So her guess for a couragous thing is to see your boyfriend no matter how you look, but she was wrong. Then she asked the host, "So theres no answer like that at all?? Face without make up? Ummm I think you'd need courage for that." LOL

I think this part is skipping a lot, but another thing I remembered was one of Hyun Young's guesses was about money...how you could trust love and let your bf/gf borrow a big ammount of money. They asked Hyun Young if she ever let someone borrow a lot of money and she said that once, she let her bf borrow close to $5,000 dollars, but she got it back. LOL she said she kept being his gf till she got every single penny back. Then, they asked Hyori if she ever done that, too and Hyori said she never let her bf borrow money...but once her bf was having a really hard time with money and he was really broke so since she herself makes a lot of money now, she just gave hime approx. $2,000 dollars. So, since she gave it to him, she didn't get it back. Then, they asked her, "So what happend to him?" "We broke up." lol

Oh yeah, and she also talked about the paper crane kissing thing. I mentioned it earlier in the thread, so I'm not gonna type it out here since my hand hurts. Keke. BTW, the money answer was wrong. But it was like 20th place or something.


Another answer that Hyun Young guessed was if you LEAVE your love because you love them. Like if you think you're not good enough for them or their job/place is higher than you and your level's not right, or if you want them to meet somebody better. (Her answer was right...2nd place answer.) Then, they asked Hyun Young if she's done that before and she said no...And then they asked Hyori if she's done that and she said, "Yeah. I have. Well, I guess for me you wouldn't really say it was bc I thought I wasn't good enough or anything, but there were times when I knew to myself that being with them would be something that would block a lot of things in their life...so...I would just, break it off even though I was still in love with them."

Later, Hyori guessed about kissing (talks about crane stuff), but she got it wrong, and then later Park Jun Gyu (the other man with the black shirt) guessed about sex...and how you would need courage to give your first everything to somebody and he got it right (3rd place)

And then Hyori was like "HEY!! I DID SAY THAT!" and then they were like "NOO kissing is diff." ANd she was like "Oh psh HELLO...you need to BEGIN with kissing and then continue to get there...you cant just...GET THERE." LOL. and she was liek "Well..even if my MIND is there already." Hahhah shes so funny.

So the subject of sex came up and they asked about honeymoons. They talked to Shin DOng Yup about his honeymoon and he was rly embarassed so they asked the girls of what their dream honeymoon would be. They played really pretty beauty and the beast music and she was like "Oh..you know..usual romantic stuff like a bed with flower petals...wine...but for some reason i have a lot of doubt that it'll happen to me." (while laughing) And then they asked Hyun Young and she was like "I would like to have a nice takl about our future and how we would change, how our life would be.." And then Shin DOng Yup was like "Did you know that every cuople that divorced...on their honeymoon they planned their life out together?" LOL.

So, Hyori was like "Let's have Hyun Young and Shin DOng Yup act something like that out~"

LOL So they acted it out. Hyun Young was like "Honey...I want a kid maybe 1 or 2 years later." And Shin dong yup said, "Well what about our baby coming right now?" LOL
Then she said, "Ohhh yeah...I forgot about this one. Okay welll...I want a big house." "Oh...honey. Does the size of our house matter? As long as we're happy." "No..I wanna big house. Cant you make a lot of money by then?" "Ok ok...but one promise from u...no more surgeriies on ur face." HAHAHHA. It was hilarous. I love them both.

Later, they talked about changing ur lifestyle for ur bf. Like Hyori said that one time she was ANTI dog soup/meat (ppl eat dog in korea) bc she loved dogs, she took care of a lot of them and she couldnt stand people who ate them. But her bf at that time LOOOVED dog meat and kept trying to convince her to eat some but she would tell him no every time..but he kept saying stuff like "Once u try it..i swear you'll never be able to stop." So...she ended up going to a dog meat restaurant and it came out on her table. She said she felt sick but ended up trying some...and hated to admit that it was pretty good. hahhha.

Oh yeah...before all this, hyun young takled about how she changed her face for her bf. LOL so hyori talked aabout how she changed her hip hop style for her bf. Like she loved hip hop style clothes, music, everything...but her bf hated it and hated his gf liking that stuff and wished she would be more ladylike, wished she listened to ballad music, etc. etc. So...when she was with him, she'd put in ballad music, and when he left, she put on her hip hop music, turn her hat over, etc. etc. hahha.


oK so basically i went over every hyori part of the show. i think. i'll watch it again and see if i missed out anything. just ask if theres a certain part where you're wondering and i'll try to explain.

OH YEAH--and like always, they showed preview a clip of next week. (same guests) The hiphen line I put in the beg. of the quotes mean that they said much more before that , but the preview didnt show it. And the diff quotes mean....they were two totally diff statements. haha.

Its rly sad. Like I said, they cut some parts off so we'd be intersted in the whole story, but from the previews..

Shin Dong Yup said, "I mean...they should at least PAY BACK the money first before talking.." " - I promised myself...that I'll become big no matter what and someway, somehow get revenge."

Hyori, " - I told him...either only wait for me..or get out. And I just hated the fact that I had to end up being somebody like that...and I just folded my heart and stopped all feelings by myself." And the caption they wrote for her on the bottom was "I Hated the world...and I hated myself." But the term they used for hate was more like "I hated the world for turning it's back on me." Sigh....It was so sad seeing her cry T-T

Hyun Young said, "The fact that I would go up to that high of height for him was poisonous to me." " - when he fell and almost crumbled into nothing...*I* saved him." "I hated him...but my love for him just couldn't seem to stop."

Lee Hae Young, "I was so in love with him." "--I dunno..betrayal??"



Every single girl was crying. I'm soo curious. And it was so sad to see them cry. Oh yeah--and Lee Hae Young is somebody who dated a man for 10 years and got divorced after 1 year of marriage when he totally used her for all her money so I think she would have a lot to say in the next episode.

this should be a great start-off...if she wants to further her acting skills....usually people go through some type of programs like nnstop or banjun drama....alot of people succeeded from there on.

According to reliable source, the following will be hyolee's plan for this year.

1. She will stop promoting her 2nd album around May.
2. There are no holiday for hyolee this year, the only one she had is over (the one at Saipan)
3. During April, Hyolee will head towards Japan and America to perform.
4. After her promotion ends, she will accompany her juniors to China.
5. At around June or July, she will have her solo concert in Korea, but its not a big concert(at seoul)
6. In Sep, Hyolee will have a surprise for us, she will be releasing a special album also with bonus songs.


Ps: Hyolee's birthday celebration might be cancel. why? It's not that hyolee will be busy. It's about Juhyun. Hyolee and DSP haven't celebrate her Birthday ever since they debut. However, hyolee's fans insist to celebrate her birthday together. DSP is still considering, because Juhyun's birthday is some days after Hyolee's. But there're currently no fans that suggested celebrating her birthday, to avoid embarrasement and attention, therefore hyolee's birthday celebration might be cancelled.

May... so she'll probably release at least another song

Lee hyori is a Tony fan when she's in High school, she stole Tony's notebook during HS-.-
"I am one of the Tony's craziest fans" Hyolee revealed her HS secret.

On 7th March, Hyolee attended KBS2 Program "Sangsang Plus" and said that during her HS life, Tony of H.O.T is her favourite idol. "During that period, I wanted anything that belongs to my idol. Because I'm kind of childish that time, i secretly open Tony's bag and stole his notebook."

"I was shock last year, and even shocker this year. When i start my Solo trip, i was lonely. However, the support from the fans make me work hard and getting an award makes me feel good."

Tony laughed when he knew about this. Tony said "Actually i couldn't quite remember about the notebook details. But i remember that when i found my notebook missing, i was angry". "I remember hyolee told me quite a long time ago back in the studio about this, it was unbelievable. I can't believe that it was Hyolee from Fin.k.l that took away my notebook. (laughing) If i see her next time, I will ask about what did i write inside the notebook for sure".

According to Hyolee, Tony's An's notebook recorded his Band's RAP lyrics and also his communication notebook with the members, personal notes, etc.
