I'm so pumped for her new album! But reading through some of the comments in the K-Celeb Photo section, some think she's looking "slutty". O_O. That's their opinion, I guess, but I think its hot.

And people are saying "Guys see it and would want to buy it for the pictures, not the music." Straight girl here - I'd buy it without a doubt.

HMV didn't import her Vol 1 at all so i had to get my friend to get another friend to buy it from Japan for me.. but this time i have to get it on my own, so i'm gonna try my luck at HMV.. if they're not importing her Vol 2 either, i'll have to order online..

How to Read Korean!
it's not 100% the correct way to teach how to read Korean, but that's how I understand it myself.. if anyone knows the proper way, please feel free to correct me!

Consonants:
ㅂ / ㅃ = b
ㅈ / ㅉ = j
ㄷ / ㄸ = d
ㄱ / ㄲ = g

ㅍ = p
ㅊ = ch
ㅌ = t
ㅋ = k

^the first group is the 'hard sound' group while the second group is the 'soft sound' group.

the respective rows in both groups correspond; for example, the second row, ㅈ is the 'j' sound, while ㅊ is the 'ch' sound. if you look carefully, you can see that ㅊ is just ㅈ with a stroke added on. the same goes for the other rows. 'b' and 'p', 'd' and 't' and 'g' and 'k'.

More Consonants:
ㅅ = s
ㅁ = m
ㄹ = r / l
ㅎ = h
ㅇ = ng (only when used at the back of a character. when used at the front of a character, it has no sound; it only means that a vowel is following)


Vowels:
ㅗ = o
ㅛ = yo

ㅓ = eo
ㅕ= yeo

ㅏ = a
ㅑ = ya

ㅐ = ae
ㅒ = yae

ㅔ = e
ㅖ = ye

ㅜ = u
ㅠ = yu

^for each pair, the pattern is simple. add on a stroke and you get the 'y' sound in front. for example, ㅜ is 'u'. when you add a stroke onto ㅜ you get ㅠ, which is 'yu'

More Vowels
ㅣ = i

ㅡ = eu

Reading Characters
left to right, then up to down.

for example: 깊 is pronounced as Gip, not as Gpi. read the ㄱ first, the the ㅣ, and lastly the ㅍ .

yupp. that's basically about all that i know about reading Korean, haha.. i'm sure there are some exceptions here and there about the reading, but i don't know those.. hope you guys found this useful!

Lee Minwoo, Lee Hyolee and Kim Do Hyun are all the same age (born in 1979) and the trio are very close with one another. Kim Do Hyun has produced Hyolee's "10 Minutes" and Lee Minwoo's "Sweet Girl". At the music awards in 2003, Lee Minwoo and Hyolee did a duet together that caused a lot of attention and Kim did the turntabling and DJ in the backround for them right on the same stage.
