I've been wondering what people feel about this body type on females. This is something that I'd like to be. By muscular I mean like those girls you commonly see in the work out videos with visibly toned arms and stomachs...I guess you can even think about the Victoria secret models.
Looking around soompi and hearing some peoples opinions I just get the feeling its better for women to be soft or scrawny but muscular isn't looked too well upon.
but their are so many benefits to being muscular right? I can think of many. Being able to carry that extra heavy tv screen when you move out of your dorm room or carrying that book pack that weighs 50 pounds!
So my question is what do you think about it? Image wise, functional wise? Is it better to be muscular? What's your personal opinion?
Because I don't know if this is an image I should strive for??

I'm fine with girls with toned bodies, as long as they don't end up being very muscular and end up looking like chyna from wwf or something. Oh and she needs to keep those sexy curves.

I agree, too muscular is a bit much. I believe women are not naturally ment to be that way....!
But some women doesn't really have curves... Would that make them even more boyish-shaped if they had muscle-tone as well??

i have that kind of body!! well the muscles are nearly gone and i used 2 have 4/6 pac which alot of people found strange for my gender and age....i don't have any 4/6 pac anymore.....i never minded havin that kind of body since i'm a boy-ish type girl
but i think that if girls want to have those kind of body then they could definetly achieve it if they try hard enough and if they don't then it's fine cos all people are differents
and their boyfriend wouldn't like them to be stronger than them

i kinda have that kind of body. i mean, i guess im pretty strong?
the thing is, yeah, its good to be muscular and everything cause then youre able to defend yourself.
but the guys in my class were always saying how muscular i am. it really got on my nerves since it's not even that noticable.
but.. it's an image i'm not ashamed of

if by muscular girls you mean girls who are lean and fit, i have no qualms. in fact, i'm quite turned on by girls who're fit and athletic. it shows that she's active, strong, and capable of taking care of herself when she needs to. but if by muscular girls you mean the bodybuilder-type girls, i'd have to say i find that quite unattractive. something about having numerous muscle striations and a body fat lower than most guys is a bit intimidating
