I'm looking for a over the counter product (clean&clear, neutrogena, clearasil, etc.) thats good for cleansing and keeping your face smooth without breaking out. I've notice with the ones I use it over drys your face and sometime breaks me out. I look very pale in the morning and I need a cleanser that will make my face more glowy and stuff. I don't think I want to buy every product their is to test it so any recommendation?

You will always break out, lol.
And you have to experiment. Everybody's skin is different. (have you noticed that's why EVERY brand is dermatologist recommended?)

^ I agree. You just have to experiment and see what suits your skin. You can check out reviews at Makeupalley.com. They're pretty helpful.

yeah, try makeup alley. my doctor recommended me to wash my face with dove's white beauty bar soap and then following it up with my regular facewash. get enough sleep too. it helps prevent breakouts since it makes your hormones more stable.

I think you just have to keep trying different products to see what suites your skin the best. Personally, drugstore products aren't as effective for me. I use cleansers and toners from Lush and my skin improved a lot.

Well I'm on prescription but I would like to stop and find a product that would help me prevent my acne from coming back and also leaving my skin smooth without over drying it

Here's some good suggestions! I'm going to the mall in the next few days to restock on this product.
Have you heard of The Body Shop? Click the link.
I would highly recommend that you try their tea tree oil facial wash (not the foaming one) and after you wash your face, use their tea tree oil mattifying moisturizer.
It leaves such a nice, clean feeling-- reduces oiliness, yet moisturizes. I love them~

agreed with the basis. their bar soap for sensitive skin works really nicely. although you hear a lot of people saying bar soaps aren't good for the skin cause they're too drying, basis' sensitive skin bar goes against that statement haha.
