Hi soompiers! I need your help.

I really want to get a facial treatment as soon as possible but I don't know if its okay to have it during my period. Some say that during period, the pricking most likely leaves scars but I dont know if that is true.

I have classes from monday to sunday and this is my last free day. I hope you guys will reply. Thanks in advance! ^____^

dont do anything on you skin when you have your period, i mean no harsh treatment.
if you observe you easily got bruises when you have your period , so what will you have if there some needles or stick pricking on you skin?

just wait for few days for your period to end

I've never heard that. But then again, I don't really go for facials, so I wouldn't know...

But I know when I get my period, I'm exceptionally hormonal and prone to breakouts. Since those breakouts are caused by hormones, nothing topical can really stop them. So I figure, why go in for a facial when I'm just going to keep on breaking out cause of my hormones. Might as well wait until a few days after my period and hormones have calmed down, and go get a facial to clear up THAT breakout, plus... anything else that needs clearing up.

^ No actually, when you're on your period, everything about you feels sensitive. But just wait until after your period is over and do the facial treatment.

really? i never heard of that before.

cuz when I have my period, I tend to break out. So my mom basically drags me to get a facial. XD
And I don't have any scars/stuff of that sort...

I don't think it will leave scars. But when you're on your period, you tend to be more sensitive (to pain) so it might be a good ides to just wait until it finishes.

ive never heard of periods having anything to do with facials....
if you do find that that you tend to get more sensitive during yours (ive never heard of this either....)
then you can just wait a little
ive really never heard of scarring due to periods....

ive never heard of periods leaving scars... and personally i don't see why that it would.
i dont think people have a lower threshold for pain on your period, especially your face area, but you are probably just more irritable and therefore less tolerant in general.

personally, i would probably still get a facial.... don't see why not
