i recently started getting into the whole JPOP thing.. >,< yeh i know im a bit slow...

but i have no idea who is good and everything...

i love Ai Otsuka...Ayumi Hamasaki.. Namie Amuro.. Utada Hikaru.. melody.... w-inds... Arashi...
but i would love to know about more....

can anyone recommend some more great singerz and groups... and also their songz??

anything by Ayaka Hirahara is good tongue.gif she's awesome <3 I recommend Banka, Mama, Ai can't reada, Eternally, and Utau Kaze.

I'm a big fan of the group 'dream'... who are in my signature pic right now. Their music is kinda pop/dance-ish. Well, I think it's great haha. I'd have to recommend the super-popular ORANGE RANGE, they're fantastic. If you like rap/hip-pop then you'd probably like the duo BENNIE K as they're quite good... a lot of catchy songs.

rurutia - she's fairly new or at least not as popular as other singers; she has four albums released i think. can't really explain her music...i guess it's a little bit of pop and new age. very entrancing, as well as her voice.

here are some songs that i like personally:

primary
aishikoyo
lost butterfly
selenite
shine
chou no mori

others:

"the garden of everything" by maaya sakamoto and steve comte (in english but great nonetheless; i especially love maaya's background vocal and how she sings japanese in chorus while steve sings in english)

i've always loved and admired 'judy and mary' since i fell in love with most of their songs. i'd consider their music alternative pop. there's something about yuki's voice that's very innocent yet their songs sometimes say otherwise.

i'm a JE fan (especially Johnny Jrs)...so pretty much listen to them. i do listen to others but random songs.
