It's like people labeling rock or country as "white music". it's like what?

it's asian people singing.
But then again, it's just a stereotype.
When people say "white people music," you all understand what it means because the majority of those people listen to it.
Same goes for "black people music." People can enjoy music however they like, it's just another stereotype that you can't change. No one's going to listen to you.

of course their going to link big bang to sounding/being black, but i take it as a compliment rather than an insult

But I agree that hip-hop is about incorporating people.

2. Okay I agree, hip hop is universal just like everything else, the world belongs to everyone,
but it is apart of black culture, just like martial arts is apart of asian culture, just like salsa and merengue are apart of latino culture, so it is black culture, but that doesnt mean no one else can do it.

They basically look like they turned on BET or MTV and went out and bought a bunch of hip-hop clothes.
Imagine if Big Bang walked through the Bronx.

Took the words out of my mouth.
But hip hop is free for everyone. It's just a way of expressing one self.
& actually, I don't know where the OP has been for the past few years, but hip hop is getting big. It's big in Japan, & parts of Europe.

I don't know much about Big Bang, but I'll call them a boy band first and foremost since that's what they literally are.

Because there is no reason for them to wear any of that. It's all just an act. It's fake. They're copying a caricature of what they think hip hop is.
